@Iridescent_Paradox and @Nima

I agree with the point is that the DP value (or nugget value) is quite reasonable, but for those who have no choice but grind for the SM, the lower sweet yield is quite demotivating - it just seems annoying to put in more effort and get less out of it.

@KrazyKarp Definitely much prefer the effort aspect of this, compared to the RNG of Magearna which is possibly one of the most frustrating experience to collect lol. My only gripe is with the fact that hard work gets penalized from the reduction in sweets per click.

Firdt of all, I think none of us players should be entitled to getting the Shiny Mega Event (!) without putting in a huge amount of effort/spending real money for the period of the event. It is meant as a reward for the most dedicated of players and compared to other SM Events, it is already so much more accessible than other SM events. The problem is just with people seeing the SM as the main reward of the event, while the main prize should be the normal Mega - the shiny is just an added challenge for the most hardcore of players.

That being said, I do not agree with the decrease in sweets for higher interections:

1. To ensure fairness for casual players: against this argument, I will just bring in the fact this penaalty is not applied to DP spent - which means that hardcores who have saved/are willing to spend money have an inherent edge over casual players for this. The free to play feature (interacting) gets penalized when the pay to win feature (DP) is not - this is contradictory with the fairness argument.

2. Health concern: I agree with this argument. People should not be spending their whole day clicking away - many are already experiencing wrist pains lol. However, given the limited time frame and the high amount of sweets required, the penalty will inadvertently increase the number of required interactions for the hardcore player who are hellbent on getting the SM. Thid oenalty therefore harms their health more than helping it.

3. Being punished for working harder is very discouraging in general. Seems very counterintuitive of a "feature"

Personally, I hope decrease in sweets is removed. I will not be grinding for the SM, but I thknk that is the fair options for those willing to put in the work. That being said, Riako is the admin who has access to all the statistics and definitely understands how to make a balanced but also rewarding reward so in the end I will agree with his decision. But I do hope he can take in the feedbacks about the current system and adjust if necessary.
