Gah, it's going to take me forever to memorize all this stuff about the Fairy type. It's the first new type that I've actually been around to see. When Steel was first released, I wasn't playing the games so it didn't affect me.

Every time I see Flabebe I automatically think that it's a Grass type and I can take it out with a Fire attack. Then I kick myself when I remember that it's only a Fairy type. xD

@Abby: I would personally keep Riolu, unless you have plans to catch and train another Pokemon that can learn steel moves. Fairy types are weak to steel, and when I was making my run through the game I often wished I had a Pokemon that could learn decent steel type moves because those darn fairies are annoying! Then again, I'm not sure what Pancham will eventually learn, so...

And I wouldn't worry too much on having a perfectly balanced team. I choose Fennekin and Charmander as my starters, and I quickly realized that it didn't really mean much, as long as the rest of my team covered their weaknesses. Then again, I'm not one of those competitive battling types, so I might be horribly mistaken. xD

Anyway, I've finally beaten the game! First thing I did was grab the Pokeradar and start shiny hunting. At first I was going for a Shiny Caterpie, then after a lot of migrating I ended up on Route 5 trying to get a Shiny Skiddo. Longest chain was 33. Then I lost it. After that I gave up and turned off the game...If I had kept going, I don't think I would have gotten off my lazy butt to eat dinner. xD

	I like the Battle Chateau because, not only do I get extra exp and money, I also get the satisfaction of defeating those rich jerks. Not all of them are bad, but some are just...gah. It makes me wish that I could shake them down for all their cash at once. xD [Read more]

So...apparently someone managed to hack the games and find the Pokemon that had their names leaked. Then posted the pics. I'm sorry if this sounds unreasonable, but...why? Couldn't these hackers have just waited? Hacking a game is one thing, I don't really care. But these were surprises Game Freak put in for the players, and were clearly going to be revealed at some point. I didn't care about the leaks before, since I was expecting them. But these pics were totally forced in my face without warning. I actually wanted to be surprised by GF. ):

Just...Gah! Sorry for the rant, this just bugged me.

Anyway, in case someone here hasn't heard, that egg glitch I posted about has turned into a pretty big thing. These eggs are coming from Wonder Trade, and are just as bad as Bad Eggs. Do not save if you get one of these! If you do, do not try to hatch it! Just put it in an empty PC box and leave it alone. At least, that's what I've been reading. I hope there'll be a fix for it soon. (But apparently it's pretty rare, so don't panic. xD )

	From I've read, the "Mystery Zone" is the area outside the normal game, like those lines of trees that are pretty much everywhere. Link The fact that Game Freak programmed something like that in is a little impressive, and creepy. Hopefully it's harmless. [Read more]

	In case no one has seen, there has been another glitch found! Here is the vid. It's from when the game was first released, so I'm not sure if it was fixed in the recent patch. I saw a few people posting tricks on how to fix the glitch before the official patch came out. Maybe you did one of the tricks without knowing it? Either way, at least it got fixed! :D

I was considering just putting off getting the update, then I realized how devastated I'd be if I got hit by it. I got almost 60 hours put into my game, with super training, Amie, and shiny hunting. I can't even imagine how it would feel to lose it all because of a glitch! Better safe than sorry, haha.

My luck in this Gen is incredible...

I just hatched a Shiny Cubone! And it only took nine eggs! Someone Wonder Traded me a Korean Cubone last night, and since I got a Ditto yesterday I thought I'd give it a shot. It's one of my all-time favorite Pokemon, after all.

Her name is Jojo. <3

I'm tempted to train her for the sixth spot on my team, instead of waiting for an Aron. I haven't had a Cubone/Marowak on any of my teams since my last play through on Red. But Aggron is pretty awesome, and it has a Mega evo.

@IceKitsune: Have you tried Wonder Trading? I've gotten a lot of Skrelp from there, so I think it's pretty common to get. Might take a while though, haha. If I get another one, I'll trade it to you. :)

Hey, does anyone have a Japanese Scraggy/Scrafty that they're willing to trade? Or any Scraggy/Scrafty that's not in English? I've been trying to get one so I can breed for a shiny, but all the trades for one on GTS are a little outrageous. :/

Gah, I just need a non-English Ditto. That would solve everything! xD

I can't really get a good pic, but here's a vid of one I saw a couple days ago: Link. It's a little hard to see, but the spots are a violet color instead of green, and the body is more white and light, light pink. It's very pretty, actually. :3

And here is a page about the Masuda Method. In a nutshell, it's taking two Pokemon, at least one from a different country entirely, and breeding them. I don't think the page mentions this, but I also read that the other Pokemon HAS to be from a different language-speaking country. So, Pokemon from the UK and America breeding will not trigger the Masuda Method. I learned that the hard way, when I tried breeding the Goomy I caught first with a Goomy from Spain. D:

What really helped was getting that Litwick with the Flame Body ability. If I didn't have it, it would have taken me forever to hatch all those eggs. xD And the new way the GTS is handled is awesome! It's so easy to get Pokemon from different counties, even with Wonder Trading! I love it sooooo much!

I didn't keep count...But I think I hatched at least sixty eggs. I mostly filled one box with them three times, and had to release a bunch. If anyone is looking for a Goomy with a specific nature, feel free to ask if I have one. I got more than I need. xD

I know, right? First there was the little ghost girl on the bridge in Black and White, now this. xD Apparently, you can find her again in the same city. I'll have to look into it.

@Tina: I think the game just goes back to normal. :3 I'm going to go see it, haha.

Woot! After so many eggs hatched! I'm swimming in Goomys...But it was worth it!
