I am! :D They're showing it in theaters where I live, but I'm already going to see Catching Fire in about an hour and a half, which overlaps the first showing on BBC, and I don't want to bug my parents about seeing two movies in the theater in one day... So instead I'm watching it at 6:00 at my friend's house. But every movie is more dramatic in the evening when it's dark out, so it's cool.

~By the way, after I'm a bit more caught-up on commissions, I will be drawing pony OCs for free (since they're fast and easy to draw :P). I will be doing them digitally and traditionally (traditionally drawn ones may be out faster since I only get 7 hours a week on the only computer with Photoshop installed >_>), and I'm currently working on drawing alicorns. (The lankier type like Luna, Celestia, and Cadence. I can already draw normal-proportioned ponies.) And if you're not sure whether you want it digitally or traditionally done, I'll post a picture of both styles in a sec, but traditional coloring does tend to have more blended colors.

(Well, I've taken a look at your character, and here's a few options you could do. a) Walk around the battlefield, and later return to the base camp, b) Run into Makin, Jonathan, or Nicodaemus, since they are also on your character's side, c) On the above note, Johnathan's just had an emotional moment, and you could give him "advice" from your character d) Edwin, the medic, mentioned going to Saria to (I think) recover the injured Talonflame from her, or d) Happen to come across Saria in the woods.

I'm not trying to force you to do any one of the things above, and I don't want it so seem that way. >_> There are probably a few other options that I haven't listed, so go ahead and make up your own, but it seems you're having a bit of writer's block. And if you're just not used to typing long posts like you said, that's fine. I started RPing with one-liners like most people, but after a bit of experience with RPs, and looking at other people's posts in them, my posts became longer and longer until I got into Literate RPs. ;))

Okay, I know I should probably go post in the RP, but I think we need to settle something first: money. (Now that I'm looking at it, "money" is just a weird word, isn't it?) So, I'm from the US, so I use dollars, but I understand some of you might use pounds, or euros, or something else. (I think I've already seen someone use pounds in the RP.) What kind of currency should we use in the RP? Because I don't want to make it too confusing for anyone when there's a lot of switching between currency.

(Aww...you just haven't gotten into it yet. But I understand. Roleplaying isn't for everyone, especially if you don't like reading through large posts. But I'm the kind of person that likes reading so much, I do victory dances around the room when I get a hold on a book I've been waiting for. :P

Maybe you should try posting something, aiming for length/detail. You might find you like it more that you thought.

And I know, I'm sorry my post is entirely OOC, but I can't really do much with Saria or Omega for now...)

As for Meowstic or Klefki, I'm not sure since I've never used either of them.
I would choose Blaziken, since it can hit fast and hard (especially with the event hidden ability and mega evolution) Plus, its fighting type moves will knock out most of the popular fairy types, like Sylveon or Xerneas.
If you're going with Aurous, be sure to teach it a water type move, if you don't have a water type.
Shedinja is pretty kick butt with its ability, but remember it's weak to flying, rock, ghost, fire, and dark type moves. About 60-80% of your opponents will know one of these types, especially how common moves like Crunch and Aerial Ace are.
I would probably add a "tank" to the team like Tyranitar, since what I've suggested to you so far has more offensive Pokemon. Make sure you have Pokemon that can either quickly KO your opponent, or outlast them with HP. (If outlasting, make sure you have moves that will sharply raise their defenses.)

That's just my two bits, but it's my kind of battle style. I would actually make two teams, an offensive and a defensive, use them both in online competition a bit, and see which one you like most/counters the best. ;)
