Pretty sure this is the case when the matched Egg Group is the second Egg Group of the dual Egg Group. The DayCare only looks at the first Egg Group.

@Necario - Could you be more specific? I just put a Hatterene and a Grimmsnarl in the DayCare and they would breed.

@Drakonia~ - That's because Dragonite's first Egg Group is Water 1, not Dragon. Because Jangmo-o is in 1 Egg Group, the DayCare only looks at the first Egg Group of Dragonite.

@Lycario - Could you give examples? I've never had any problems breeding with Ditto.

@~Articuno~ - I can give you 11 Dragon Gems for them. If that sounds good, you can set up the trade and I'll offer the Gems on it (:

@Zarda - "Take your time, but here's your time limit" is not a good way to get a deal. Also, you wanted Fairy Gems, but now you're acting as if you asked for Dragon Gems. If you're going to rush me AND change your mind without any indication, I'm going to have to decline your offer.

@Charmander - It's 3 Electric for 1 Ice Gem, not 4 (': For those 43 Ice Gems, I'm willing to offer 129 Electric Gems.
Following that same logic (3 Electric for 2.5 Flying Gem), I'm willing to give 53 Electric Gems for the 44 Flying Gems.

@TuxedoMon - Assuming that's the one in my "reserved" box, It'd be 38 Ice Gems (which is 95 Flying Gems).

The way I understood it, this suggestion is about being able to guess the pokémon and decide whether you want to reel it in.

The linked suggestion is about always catching the same pokémon, as long as you don't leave the beach and have 'chain bait'.

While the idea is the same, the implementation and 'other uses' are different, so I approved this one independently from the other one.
