Shitsuren sets off for the task board, keeping his head low. He's not a were-creature like some of the others, but he's still not very well-liked. As a child, he would steal pieces of bread and fruit from the local shops, getting caught on several occasions. He hasn't done anything like that recently, not since he became old enough to use the task board, but he has thought of it. His stomach grumbles and he takes a bite of a slightly browned apple. It's sweet. The task board shows a task with a reward of 100 gold. That should get me at lease until next month, he thinks. The missions didn't pay horribly, but there were still days Suren went hungry. He takes the contract off the list and goes to the living establishment of the person who set it up.

After a quick briefing, Suren goes home to grab his rapier forged from the scale of a dragon and his pixie dagger. He sets off for the central market to buy some supplies for his journey.
