As joy continued to evaluated the wounds, she noticed the poison hadn't faded completely "Hm, that's odd....This isn't standard poisoning. We may need to keep it here for continuous treatment..." She got out a form to begin signing it in. As she did, she noticed Josphine enter the room. "Oh! Josephine, would you mind starting to bandage its wounds while I fill out the paper work?" She then turned to the trainer who'd brought the pumpkaboo in. "Thank you for acting quickly and bringing it in when you did. It might have died if left in this condition."

Millie watched as Josephine entered the examination room. "Well I guess we have our answer...I suppose we should go check up on our respective wards, then." Lyla nodded, and began to head toward the blue ward.

Millie looked up at Colton as he arrived. "Oh! Well, um. We've already had our first arrival of the day. Joy's back there with them, but the vet tech isn't here yet. We're trying to decide if one of us should help her out instead" She talked quietly but a bit urgently.

Joy nodded as she began a cursory examination of the injured pokemon. She quickly noted that the pokemon seemed to have been poisoned, and signaled for Ciara to retrieve a pecha berry to try and lessen the effects. Antidotes were quick, yes, but wild pokemon tended to prefer to accept berries.

Joy turned around with a start, suddenly wide awake and all business, and Ciara ran to her side. "Alright, I'm on it. Bring it this way, please." She gestured toward the examination room, and began walking toward it briskly.

Millie watched her go, still standing with Malasi, arm still half extended in waning shock. "Do you suppose one of us should go help her? The tech isn't here yet."
Lyla looked up at her trainer, then to the other pokemon. "If not one of the humans, perhaps one of us should go. The pokemon was a grass ghost type, if that helps."

Farren gave up trying to sleep again, his cough was keeping him up. He then heard a commotion from toward the front of the center. He sat up in the dark, wondering what it was.

Joy turned around with a smile "As ready as i can be. I'm just getting things booted up right now, since the center opens in a few minutes." of Nurse Joy was always on call in case of an emergency, but the center usually opened around 6 am.

Joy arrived to the center early in the morning, as she always did. She opened the hatch to get behind the counter and started up the machines, double checking to make sure everything was working and running. Ciara was not far behind her, humming to herself as she skipped over to her usual spot to begin helping her trainer work the healing tray and other equipment. Both were prepared for whatever was going to come for the pokemon center doors that day, or at least they hoped so.

Farren stirred in his bed somewhere in the orange ward, having woken from yet another incredibly strange dream. This had been happening for a while now, and at this point he was just hoping he could manage to get back to sleep this time.

Plot
Whitelily may not be the biggest town in the world, but it sees its fair share of trainers on their way to the next gym town.There are also plenty of wild pokemon around due to the vast forests surrounding it. This means the pokemon center staff are almost always on their toes. Thankfully, with the help of their pokemon partners, things are a bit more manageable.
Rules!
1.Be nice please!
2.No godmodding (controlling other people's characters)
3.All forum rules apply
4. legendary pokemon allowed, unless they are waaay too large to feasibly do their selected job. Hybrids also allowed.
5.4 (maybe 5 if you think you can upkeep) characters per person please!

About the center

The center is a fairly large one, and has three wards, sorted by the severity of a pokemon's condition: The blue ward for pokemon with a mild condition, the orange ward for pokemon with moderately severe conditions, and the black ward for pokemon in severe or critical condition. Each ward has a different nursing staff. Of course there's the front reception area where nurse Joy stands behind the counter for standard healing, and there is an extraneous building in the back for large pokemon to recover in.

Jobs

Nurse: in charge of looking after the recovering pokemon and administering treatment as the recuperate.
Physical therapist: helps rehabilitate pokemon that have recieved particularly severe injuries
Vet Tech: helps the head doctor with examining patients
Intern: here to learn and prepare for their full jobs, mostly do small things like retreiving medicine, cleaning sheets and bringing in patients.

Personality:A little on the shy side, Millie only just started as a nurse. Millie is pretty chatty and funny once you get her to come out of her shell, but that's pretty tough to do. Sometimes you may catch her singing quietly as she works on changing a pokemon's bandages or some other task.
Appearance: A little bit short, has medium length wavy red hair and freckles. Has blue eyes and usually wears green scrubs.

Gender:Female
Personality:Lyla is very relaxed and laid back. Her calm tends to spread(more likely than not due to her aromatic petals), making her valuable in a tense situation. She's very gentle and patient with the pokemon in her care, despite having recieved an array of scratches, bites, and other wounds from uncooperative pokemon in the past.
Appearance(anything special?): Wears a miracle seed necklace around her neck.

Personality: Laid back and very polite, he's unusually calm about the situation he's currently in. Confused most the time. Cooperates with the staff well enough.

Condition (i.e. leg injury, cold,etc): Virus, mostly likely flu. moderately high fever and cough, apparently from walking through the rain for an extended amount of time.
Ward: Orange
Trainer or wild?: Trainer? Presumably? Someone brought him in after finding him drifting around without a trainer, but it'd appear he's registered to a trainer ID from alola. While notices have been sent around the town for any visiting trainers from alola to come by if they're missing an ampharos, no leads so far.
