Quoll cleared his throat, eyes straying to the retreating form of the white dragon-- a dragon of a tribe he had never seen before. He tried to remember the name of the tribe-- 'SnowWing? ColdWing?-- oh, IceWing,' he remembered finally.
"Hellooo," he replied cheerily to the SkyWing (Caiman and he had seen SkyWings before). "I'm Quoll."
"Caiman," his sister introduced herself gruffly. She was stroking Kapok with one talon and staring at the SkyWing unblinkingly (an unfortunately awkward habit of hers that she was unaware of).

Caiman and Quoll walked into the school, late because of their mother, Sunrise. The older RainWing was very affectionate and her goodbyes always lasted for ages. Quoll was strolling calmly in the front while Caiman followed close behind, Kapok the lemur strung around her neck. She was nervous; he was excited. The twins hadn't even seen dragons from most of the other tribes before this. Caiman was praying she'd be in a winglet with other dragons that didn't make tons of noise and were comfortable leaving her alone. Quoll looked over his shoulder and gave his sister an encouraging smile.
"Don't stress over anything, Cai," he said for maybe the hundredth time since they left their mother. "You're a likeable dragon. All you have to do is not sulk in a corner."
Caiman huffed irritably. "I know, I know." She lashed her tail slowly, thinking to herself, 'Don't worry, don't stress, don't panic...'
They stopped in front of the dragons who ran the school, Quoll with a friendly grin and Caiman with an anxious expression.

Appearance: She mostly looks like a MudWing, but she can change the colour of her scales (though the colours are pretty dull no matter how much sun time she has). She's thick and sort of strong-looking because of her MudWing father, but she has a more curved or rounded figure than the boxiness MudWings are known for. Her tail, legs and neck are longer than a MudWing's and her tail is prehensile. Her snout is thin and long, maybe not quite as thin and long as a RainWing's. She has the little horn on her snout that RainWings have. Her nostrils aren't on the top of her snout. She has greyish blueish eyes.
Personality: I'll elaborate more later but she's quiet and distrusting, and she has like zero self-confidence. She's pretty moody and can get really angry about things but she keeps her loud emotions to herself rather than voicing her anger or sadness.
Other: she has a twin, described below. Her father, Alligator, is dead, and her mom and aunt aren't really sure how or why, but he left one day to go hunting and never returned. Caiman and her brother were raised by Sunrise, a RainWing and their biological mother, and Alligator's sister, Fen. Caiman is primarily vegetarian but isn't opposed to eating meat. She and her brother have a pet quoll they call Kapok.

Appearance: exactly like Caiman, but larger, and his scales are a little brighter. His eyes are a yellowy green.
Personality: He keeps to himself mostly but is much better at making friends than his sister. He's a self-appointed keeper-of-the-peace and he tends to hang out with the outcasts. His weakness is his sister, and he's very protective of her, as she is of him.
Other: he's Caiman's twin, and was raised with her, by Sunrise and Fen. Caiman is primarily vegetarian but isn't opposed to eating meat. He and Caiman have a pet indri lemur they call Kapok.

Then he not8ced Morgan and groaned. Grabbing him gently by the tail, Tristan pulled him back away from the small crevice. "What's so exciting down there?"
He really wished Morgan could talk. He understood that Morgan wasn't interested in getting to know Tristan or really anyone else, and that he didn't seem to be a fan of being owned by someone.
Tristan wouldn't mins if Morgan was more like a friend, or companion, but he doubted Morgan would cooperate in that plan...
