I'm in that phase where I have lots of games to play, but I'm not in the mood for any of them. I also remember years ago playing a browser pokemon game of some kind, like a multi-player version of the original games? But I just googled "pokemon browser game" and this was the 1st or 2nd result. It's easy for me to mindlessly tap away at while walking, still uses the pixel art (which I love, and will always say Unova had the best art because of that), focuses on collecting Pokémon, isn't overwhelmed by a massive number of people, and I can play it both on mobile and on my computer. When I'm at work, or researching, or whatever, I can easily have it up in a tab and periodically switch over to do my dream tasks and interactions, etc etc.

I love Pixelmon, but I'm tired of some of how that mod has been developed, even if it's still my favorite mod that's more than just QOL on minecraft. It doesn't take up storage space on my laptop (important bc i can't always have my hard drive with me, and photoshop and premier are taking up the majority of my space rn), and it's helping me get back into Pokemon. It's also helping me learn the generations that I never played or cared about (6 and 7).

Between high school and college, I actually planned on learning how to speedrun Black, since no one was running the category and I was really good at the game and could easily get top 20 without any optimization. Never did, because I didn't have the means to hook my DS to a recording software or my PC. I haven't technically 100% any of the games, mostly because I either literally can't (like Black, and White 2) or becaise I got bored and stopped before I could quite finish 100%. It's making me want to actually do a full series playthrough of the games I have access to.
