 liam (fiancé) and i have decided we're gonna celebrate our dating anniversary (8/22) this year and then next year and so on our anniversary will be july 10th. it's probably pretty bad that the wedding is in 5 days and we have pretty much nothing planned lol, we aren't going for anything big though. just a little ceremony with less than 10 people total in front of the courthouse (or inside if it's too hot) that would last less than 20 minutes. the main celebration really is the bbq we're having the afternoon of the 10th. my best friend that i haven't seen in like 2 years is trying to see if they can come to the ceremony and bbq, but right now they're evacuated since there's a fire like 5 miles away from their house... they're at another friend's house with their cat though so they're safe!! oh, and artfight has been super fun so far! i'm getting more confident in my sketching/drawing skills since you can't use bases loll, except today i've been feeling pretty bleh about my art but hopefully i can push through it. :) [Read more] |

pretty good news! i got my new ID in the mail yesterday or the day before, (i can't remember loll) i smiled for the first picture but the lady told me to retake it so i gave her a fat frown. since i got my ID, fiancé and i can get married! we went to the courthouse today and got our marriage certificate, and the date is set for july 10th. we haven't decided whether or not to change our anniversary to july 10th, or keep it august 22nd. my opinion is to go with july 10th but we gotta talk it over more. :) either way i'm excited. it's been a second since i posted on this blog, my bad lol. not much has happened within the last week, other than that my ID is coming in the mail. yes with my chosen name and gender marker hell yeah! i've been doing more art recently and have posted some characters to my toyhouse account, this drawing of kozi and this drawing of pete are probably my favorites so far. :) apparently i like cats too much since all four of my oc's (or 3 1/2 since kozi is half cat) are cats lol. overall i'm doing fairly well right now and i hope y'all are too :3 [Read more] |

CW: emergency room fiancé and i went back to the ER last night after we went last saturday, he's got a skin infection that my mom and i were concerned was staph. turns out it's not staph but something kinda similar? they never actually said what it was but they did do an ultrasound on it last night to make sure there was no abscess under the surface. (there isn't one) they gave him a stronger dose of a different antibiotic and sent us on our way in under an hour. it was only so fast because we were just there last week and were making sure it wasn't getting worse. thankfully he has medi-cal or we'd be in debt for our grandchildren's lifetimes, it's the 4th time he's been to the ER this year!! someone get this clumsy man some assistance please /lh not sure why our lives are so chaotic recently, it's been chill recently but from like february to may has been crazy. wishing y'all luck with your irl situations <3 [Read more] |

so i'm basically screwed on insurance, i was on medi-cal until my fiancé, my mom, and i moved further into town around december. now that i live with my partner, the insurance company says i have to be on his case and i can't start my own. i won't get full coverage on his case which means i will have to pay partly for my medications, therapy, doctor/dentist visits, and if i wind up needing to go to the ER for anything. if you know anything about US healthcare, you probably know that it's expensive as all hell. for some reason they don't want my fiancé or i to be on my mom's case, not too sure why. i know that we won't be able to afford my meds, maybe we'll be able to squeeze enough money out to pay for my testosterone. i really don't know how i'd react if i have to go off of T, not well at least i know that. i plan on getting a job soon, due to my mental health and sensory issues, it's really difficult for me to hold a schedule and work for long periods. so i'm looking mainly for part time / low intensity jobs, and there aren't really any jobs out there right now in general, let alone something i'd be able to do. CW: death / grief went to see my late friend's grave today and found out that they misspelled his last name on the marker :/ checks out honestly. and his family wasn't able to get him a stone marker, since they are $1000-$2000 just for the headstone. funeral industry reform is a big need, atleast in the US. thank you for listening to my ted talk <3 [Read more] |
