Iggy Iggy stood outside Shard's door with a bright smile. She giggled at Erika's hat. Surely she wasn't the only who noticed how funny that little hat was. She laughed louder as it seem to run away, she copied it's bouncy movements. Missy After finishing her sketch Missy was in the kitchen, music blaring cooking up spaghetti and meatballs for her date with Charlotte. She also made some pineapple lemonade drinks. Iggy "Oh yes I am always reading good books. I haven't read a bad one yet. Right now I am reading more about Newtons Laws. I've decided I am going to become a scientist researcher, so I need to study up on that." Iggy replied with excited hand gestures as she talked. "I still need to meet this boyfriend of yours. Iggy beamed, "Yeah it feels like it's been years and years and years. Anything new with you? You still got a boyfriend?" She slid in closer to Lilly after the crowd got out of the way more. Missy Missy knew Charlotte could handle herself, besides if she did interfere she would probably not be all that helpful. She walked down to the art room, and set up her easel. Missy was actually in an advanced art class, which meant not many other students were around. She put her favorite music in her CD player, then covering her ears with headphones she began to sketch. Iggy sat down next to Lilly not minding how much attention Lilly was getting at the popular table. She took out her breakfast which were pig shaped pancakes. Then began to eat smiling up at everyone. Missy Missy chose a corner of the cafeteria that was not full of people and ate her breakfast quickly. Today she finally had art. The only class she actually liked and Missy wanted to get to it fast. She noticed that a new student (Serpe) was speaking to Charlotte. She raised an eye brow, he seemed a bit on the bold side to be speaking to Charlotte. She also noticed Charlotte's face, this new guy was in trouble. She gave a wink to Charlotte before slipping away to art class. [Read more] |

Iggy She had spent most of the night searching for Lilly's room and fell asleep on a bench in one of the hallways. She woke up, grabbed her backpack and ran into the cafeteria to eat. When she saw Lilly she screamed "Lilly! There you are!" Then gave her a very big hug. "Hope you don't mind if I eat next to you" She smiled brightly at her. Missy Missy had missed the drama of last night as well as Shard's party. She seemed to always miss things like that. She had been truly exhausted despite the curry and had fallen asleep much earlier then usual. First thing she did was give shard a text that read, "Sorry Shard for missing your party. I'll be there next time." She was not one for conflict, with a flick of her hair Missy also sent a text out to Charlotte. "Hey tonight I'll cook us dinner okay. Meet me at the oak tree at midnight." Iggy She bounced along singing the chorus to "Don't Worry Be Happy" over and over again. Not caring if other people heard her. She wondered if Lilly was around remembering how kind Lilly had been to her last year. She decided to try and find her. Missy Missy giggle slightly, "Actually now that you mention it yes a lot like Lilly just a younger version of her. In fact Lilly is the person that Iggy kept talking about in her letters during summer camp. I'll have to introduce you two soon, I know Iggy wants to meet you. " Missy put away her left over curry and tucked the bento box back into her back pack. "I'll have to cook you some spaghetti and meatballs someday then for a dinner date." Sh gave a shy smile, "You have the biggest heart I have ever seen," she replied. Then giving Charlotte's hand a squeeze she added, "Oh and you must tell me your favorite foods so you don't have to pretend to like the curry." Missy had noticed the funny look Charlotte kept getting when she ate the curry. She was also diverting the conversation away from career choices. It was nice to know Charlotte thought she had talent, but Missy wasn't as confident. "I almost forgot have you met my little sister, Iggy yet? Iggy bounced around the hallway and couldn't help but over hear Lilly and Bane talking about class. She gave bane her best smile while handing Bane a piece of paper with many complicated notes on it. "I have these extra notes if you want to look over them for next class." Then she gave a small wave and skipped back into the hallway. Missy Missy swallowed a bite before answering, "I think a library and animal shelter suits your big heart. To be honest I'm not really sure. I doubt I'll go to college, that is more my sisters thing then mine," She paused playing with a strand of her purple hair, "I don't know I was thinking I might be able to be a professional artist, but I'm not sure my paintings are really that great. Iggy walked through the hallways with an opened book in her hands. It was easy enough to go around her due to her height compared to everyone else. Classes were over with but she read books for more then just to study. Besides one of Iggy's goals in life was to learn everything she could about everyone and everything. Missy She exited history class feeling completely drained, maybe staying up so late last night hadn't been her greatest ideal. Missy headed to the cafeteria, surely her bento box packed lunch would help her energy levels. She sat down at a table and dug into her back pack her bento box was still slightly warm to the touch. Iggy She wrote her calculations perfectly on her paper before answering the teacher. Iggy heard the whispers from her fellow classmates. It was difficult sometimes to always be the smart little kid in the room full of much older teenagers. She had learned long ago to ignore the comments, instead she tried her best to be friendly to others. Missy Missy's plan of staying on the bench during gym class worked. The gym teacher gave her a nod at the excused note and she sat down making herself invisible to the others. She put her headphones, and dug out her sketchbook. This was her kind of class. Iggy Iggy had stopped to watch Erika with her had. She tilted her head at the sight and gave a small giggle. It sure was a funny little hat. She gave a wave at Erika before bobbing off in the direction of calculus. She chose a seat right up at the front. Missy Missy was glad that gym class was first. She could be late to that class, and she already had an excused note. She would be mostly sitting on the bench, listening to her favorite music and sketching. Then she had history, the same class as her sister. Art was unfortunately her last class of the week, Missy had been considering becoming a professional artist. Of course that was highly competitive, and with work on top of classes Missy wasn't sure that would happen. She brushed her hair and got ready for gym class. Iggy Iggy jumped out of bed once the sun was up. Her bed was covered in books and stuff animals. It was simply has she seemed to always sleep. She walked down the hallway, skipping in her usual cheerful way. First was calculus, then history, and finally literature before break time for lunch. Missy Missy woke up at Charlotte's voice and noticed Lilly standing outside the door. She gave a shy smile, and a blush. She also wondered how she got into bed, as she didn't even remember that part. The last thing Missy remembered was watching Hannibal eating a piece of brain. She yawned, then got up and out of the bed slowly. "Hi Lilly" She said softly. Missy Missy gave a squeeze back, "Well for once I guess I just didn't want to be the last one." She said with a slight giggle, then she poked Charlotte gently in the ribs at her muffled pillow voice. Iggy Iggy found some orange sherbet in the kitchen still dragging the wagon now full of books. She wrote a note that read, "For my new friend." and taped it to the ice cream bowl. She gave Erika's door a knock, leaving the ice cream and note behind before bouncing off back to her room to read. Missy Missy couldn't help but make a squeak noise from Charlotte's kiss. Her knees also felt a bit like jello, so she sat down before she could fall. Fortunately the buzz from Charlotte's phone interrupted that part. She turned and answered Charlotte first with a nod then an exclaimed, "Yes!" Then she added a lot quieter, "I would very much like to be your girlfriend Charlotte." Iggy awoke mid-snore and shook her head slightly. Oh yes it was still studying time, but first the library. She walked down the hallway and entered the library dragging a wagon behind her for all of her books she planned on checking out. Missy Missy's cheeks went even more red at Charlotte's intense stare. Her eyes were beautiful, and Missy couldn't help but stare back then continue stumbling over her words a bit, "Well I mean...that is...I think I might be...well I know I am ...maybe...am...falling..have fallen for you. Not waiting for Charlotte to continue, "Actually there is something I wanted to say to you too, something I've wanted to say for a long while. I know at the dance you said you wanted us only to be friends and well I umm I don't know if you even like girls in any other way but friendship. Well you see.." She got up and glanced back one last time at the stars, and black night sky, before finding her way to Charlotte's room. Iggy fell asleep reading a history book. It was never too early to start studying was the thought. She snored the rest of the night away. Missy Feeling restless at night as usual Missy got up and turned in her schedule. She glanced at the text Charlotte had sent and frowned slightly. At least one of those hopes and dreams of hers would have to wait for Charlotte to be in a better mood. Missy had promised herself she would be more bold this year, her last year, to make an impression on well anyone. She still had no clue what she would be doing after high school except to continue to work. She wandered into the cafeteria for a snack. She smiled looking out the door at the oak tree that was still there outside, her favorite spot to lisen to music and sketch fairies. Missy had a feeling she would be doing a lot of that again this year. She went outside and look up at the stars, giving Charlotte a final text "Have sweet dreams. Good night." [Read more] |
