Kate has arrived at the lake. She completely ignores the Virizion and Keldeo, flying above the water and creating a portal to the Distortion World, which she goes through. The portal closes shortly after, leaving the lake looking like there was never anything there.
In the Distortion World she immediately starts darting around, checking the bubbles that show the normal world, looking for what's wrong. She didn't know Gala was "tainted" yet.
