Demon shook her head. What was with her today? She gritted her teeth as her crushed hand suddenly gripped a knife. She sliced her arm, the pain clearing her mind. Nodded at. . . Little silver boy? behind Tashii's back to signal she understood.

"I would love it if that Mark would stay put."

She had her chance. In that split second Tashii took their eyes off of Demon, there was an opening. It felt like her heart was tearing as she pulled the trigger, the silencer muffling the sound to almost nothing. But as she did so, a hiss came from behind her, startling her. She hoped the bullet had already left the barrel.

Demon didn't know why she didn't want to kill Tashii. It was just. . .Something about them. Something. . . Unique. Un-killable. Demon tilted her head in thought, focusing only on Tashii's face. It was a pretty face.

WHAT WAS THAT. WHAT WAS THAT THOUGHT. BRING IT BACK.

	Springing from the shadows, Akuma snapped her mask on. Demon had finally managed to get off that damned bracelet but had t crush her hand. That was fine, though. She could fight just as well with her left as she could with her right. Summoning a fistful of throwing stars, she whipped then from her hand, sending them spinning in the direction of Tashii. Neko knew she would say yes. Of course she had too!

Why though? WHy listen to him at all?

Neko tried to keep her face strait as she pushed the voice back.

"Yes, I will come. But how are you going to. . ."

She trailed off in thought. She reached up, feeling her neck. Then with a soft smile and a sharp jerking motion, she flattened her hand and struck herself in her weak spot. Her eyes fluttered closed as she started to fall backwards.
