Pokémon: Wobbuffet
Style: Full Color Art
Ref Links: [url=http://pokeheroes.com/userprofile?name=Neverlight]The White Wobbuffet in my 'about me'
Payment Type: PD/FR gems (would it be alright if I split the cost between both?)
Anything else: (does the arrow count as an item?) I'd like the arrow to be a bit longer and thicker, almost like a ballista bolt. Also a little less blood than the pixel art shows would be nice.

Looks like everyone is excited XD. I like the warring nations idea, and the "incomplete avatar states" is a fascinating concept OvO. I've already got an idea for a fire/water avatar. THE INTERNAL CONFLICT. THE DRAMA. ITS BEAUTIFUL.

Also I would love to play a straight villain as well >: D

Hello Argentis! I'm Neverlight, pleasure to meet you :).

Ok, so maybe we should stay away from the original story, i'd say go as far as it having never happened. That would make things simpler. I personally want to have two characters, one bending and one not. Nobody else would have to do that though, I just like having multiple angles XD

Also would you guys want to have the "Specialty Bending" (i.e. Metal, Lighting, Blood, Plants, etc.) as their own separate tribe styles?

The man smiled behind his mask. "Not so far apart as you think my dear..." "I've known about Mer since I was a child. My mother used to tell me wondrous stories of Mer men and woman when I was small." He noted that the woman kept hold of his hand, effectively hindering his movements. "Those stories cemented my obsession, causing me to devote my life to learning more about Mer's life and culture." He gently eased his hand away, hoping not to give her the wrong impression. "I've only met a few Mer in my time, and none as exquisite as yourself. The males don't seem to be blessed with the same beauty as the females do they?"

Selinia drifted in a half waking state. Something soft was wrapped around her body. Some kind of cloth. A warm body shifted next to her, nestling against her skin. Heat radiated from the presence, soothing her frazzled nerves. Leo. She could feel his tired mind against her own. He was safe. They were both safe. Her eyes fluttered open. Soft orange light filtered through cracks in the ceiling. Where were they? She inhaled slowly, tasting the salty water. No not water. Air. She was surprised how similar the two felt. She started upright. Air! The spell had worked! Glancing around at her surroundings, she found they wet in a sparkly furnished hut of some kind. A small boy with a shock of orange hair snuggled up next to her, partially covered by the cloth thing. They were both resting in a net of some sort. Fear raced through her, as thoughts of capture flew across her mind. But no. This net wasn't a fishing trap. It was hung up like Afro use as a bed of some kind. "How typical of humans to use their own evil tools for sleeping" She thought disgustedly. Gazing out a nearby window, she saw that it was late in the evening, with the sun slowly sinking beneath the distant waves. Moving slowly, she slipped out of the netting, careful not to wake Leo. The boards squeaked gently under her feet, making her freeze. A soft breeze blew her hair down into her face, masking her vision with blue. Pushing the hair aside, she took in the room as a whole. It wasn't home, but it was sufficient for now. The wind brought chills to her pale skin, giving her strange bumps along her arms. "Such strange bodies these apes have." She took a moment to study her new body. Terrible for aquatic travel, that's for sure. The thin spindly legs seemed so unbalanced, as if they were made for falling over! "What are these even for?" She poked her chest in confusion. Sure she had plates on her Mer chest in a similar shape, but they were strong and tough, meant to protect her vitals. Flotation maybe? She shook her head. They were just a nuisance for the moment.

As they moved deeper into the forest, Vennidal's dress fluttered in the soft breeze. She felt leaves crunch under bare feet, and low ferns tickled her legs. She stared up at the large trees around them, pressed close together as if for warmth against the wind. It had been a long while since she'd been I a forest like this, so full of silent life and energy. Who knew what was out there, watching them with curious, or hungry, eyes. A sigh slipped out, as she took in the beauty around her. She had missed woods like these. A sharp pain stabbed at her heel, causing her to squeal and jump back. Falling back, she clutched at her foot. A large black thorn had driven it's way into her heel, deep enough to touch bone. Her eyes squeezed shut, leaking tears from the pain. Why now? At least the offending item kept her from bleeding to much. She kept her hands wrapped around her heel, concealing the wound.

The boy sat on the bed, staring at the cracked open closet door. It was quiet for once. No creaking footsteps, no scraping claws, no ragged breaths... A creak echoed through the room as the closet opened a bit more. He hopped up, rushing over to push the door shut again. The creature thumped against the slatted wood, it's pale green eyes glaring through the gaps. He blinked once and it vanished. Turning a sharp 180, he flashed his small light across the room at the bed. The creature let out a hiss and scuttled back beneath the bed. The boy would not be beaten so easily. He had played this game many times before...

Sally woke to the sound of her alarm blaring. It was one of the few electronic things she owned. Ever since becoming an assassin she had learned to steer clear of all devices with an Internet connection. Data trails were bright and easy to follow, straight back to the one who left them. She would not let a bunch of ones and zeros get her arrested. She smacked at the clock, eventually hitting it across the room. It continued to screech, forcing her to get up and fetch it. Finally. Silence. Her mind suddenly flooded with thoughts of yesterday. She had a job to do, and she needed to hurry. She couldn't imagine that she would be the only one to get such an offer, so she needed to act fast. Pulling on a tank top, she fished a black mini skirt off the floor. Should be clean enough. She gave the article in question a good brushing with her hand before pulling it on. She walked to the small closet next, extracting a long black bag, obviously meant for carrying a guitar. This one had a secret though. Popping the metal clasps along the side, Sally swung the lid open. Inside was a mold made of foam, the sort of thing you would see in a workshop to organize tools. This one however, was in the shape of a rifle. It could hold most types, but had been carved out specifically for her AW rifle. She stood, reaching up to pull the deep green weapon off its brackets. Light glinted off the glass lens of the scope, her third eye. Soon enough she would be put to use once again. Slotting the weapon gently into the case, she slung it over her shoulder and headed out. Breakfast first, then work. She couldn't expect to have a steady aim of her stomach was empty now could she? Breakfast first, then... The hunt was on.

He listened to the Mer woman chatter, studying her movements. Subtle fin motions, nearly undetectable, propelled her sleek form through the water. Her colors shimmered in the dim light, flashing brilliantly across his eyes. She seemed to be finishing her panic rambling, so he stopped. Drifting a few feet closer, he spoke softly and calmly. "Am I human?.......Yes, but I much prefer your people to my own. As for your friends, I'm sure they are fine. Though it may not seem so, when you were taken you were injured quite badly. Your external wounds were minimal, but internally you took a heavy hit. I would like to keep you here, at least for a few days, so that you can recover fully." He moved closer, drifting in a circle around her. "While you are here, please don't hesitate to ask for anything. Think of this as a home away from home, and I your humble servant." He gestured outward in a wide sweep, everything here is your, and I have kept the waters stocked with many familiar sea creatures to help you feel more at home." His next gesture was accompanied by a 180 spin. "I don't know what you above water capabilities are, but there are several wonderful beaches for sunbathing if you'd like." He turned back to face her. "Everything here is designed for your comfort." He was secretly hoping for her approval, against his usually serious and reserved nature.

"Stupid girl! What have I told you? Focus on your footing or death will soon find you!

Mothers words ring loudly in my ears as my breath catches in my throat. As the man spins around I stay perfectly still, becoming one with the landscape. I watched as he seemingly shrugged it off and moved on. Foolish. These woods were filled with creatures that would love the chance to find a man like this. I moved alongside him, watching him walk through the foliage. Once again losing track of my movements, I startled a large black bird, sending it flapping away. The man watched it, making a strange breathy noise. Laughter, I think it's called. Another strange human tradition, which I couldn't understand. He seemed much more at ease now, continuing his stroll through the woods. He paused to rest, sitting on a large tree root. Now was my chance to get a closer look! I crept out of the undergrowth behind him, slinking on all fours until I was only about a foot away. His scent was strange, almost like... Paper, or some other human wood product. Also flowers, but he had been working in the garden so that was expected. Maybe he would let me in the garden... I wanted to see and touch the flowers... His robes were such a pretty white, the same as my skin. At least, where there wasn't slashes. I glanced down at my own animal hide wrap. It was functional, but no where near as lovely as the mans robes. Without thinking, I reached my clawed hand out, inches from touching the white fabric.

(OOC: btw her human clothing looks like this)

Pain...

Pain is all I know.

Pain is all I will ever know, until my fate is sealed by the edge of a Vorpel blade

I move through the trees, swift and silent through the dark brambles. The forest floor is covered with them nowadays, but I don't mind. Pain lets me know I'm still alive. My pale bare feet slip between fallen leaves and twigs, avoiding noise on instinct. Being one of the few of my kind who has mastered a humanoid form has given me a distinct advantage when it comes to stealth. My true form wasn't exactly built to be quiet. I don't really know where I'm going, but I'll surely be there soon. My ceaseless steps lead me to a massive iron fence surrounding a beautifully trimmed garden. How had I never seen this before. I followed the perimeter, hoping to find access to the exquisite roses within. I came upon a wrought iron gate. As I was about to move closer, the bars swung outward, and I scurried back a few feet. Out from within the walls came a man, similair to another I'd caught lurking in my woods the other day. He was tall for a human, though not even close to matching my right foot frame, and his hair was a blinding blonde color. His eyes though... They were mismatched, but the red coloring was nearly the same as mine! I stayed hidden watching him. His features were very soft looking, looking neither male, nor female, but somewhere in between. I tried to remember the other man I'd found in the woods, but couldn't. I had been so hungry... I couldn't stop myself. Shifting slightly, my clawed foot pressed down hard on a twig, and loud snap sounded out through the trees

"Yes please. We were supposed to get food after we talked to you, so I haven't eaten since breakfast." Vennidal said, taking the woman's soft hand. A rush of cold wind blew through the street, tugging at her thin dress. The wind carried something with it, the scent of wet leaves and tree sap. It spoke of ancient power and mysteries held within the looming trees, tales as old as the wind itself. It was Dryad territory for sure. How could this woman, even as a dragon, survive out among them all alone? She shook herself, snapping out of her trance. Stumbling along after the woman, she still didn't know her name, she watched her brothers eye shift about beneath the closed lids. He was obviously dreaming, but for once, very peacefully. It worried her. "Are you sure we'll be safe at your cave? I've heard that Dryads don't like people very much..." The chilly breeze made her shiver. A flapping noise drifted to her ears, but she ignored it. Ravens picking at some trash bin probably. Her eyes drifted along the worn street, lined with shops and houses. A few still glowed with light, but most had turned dark for the evening. "I'm not scared or anything! But... I still don't want to get attacked by tree people."

Kicking open the door to her RV, Sally nearly tripped on the edge of the carpet. She swung her knife wildly to keep her balance, she ended up stabbing it into the cheap countertop. A string of profanity echoed out of the run down vehicle. By this time the alcohol had fully set into her system. After failing several times to extract the long blade, she fell backwards onto her "bed" in defeat. In actuality, it was just a ratty floral pattern couch, but it served its purpose well enough. What was this whole mission all about anyway? She could only assume that "V" was the man who put the package into her pocket, or at least one of his lackeys. A rising crime family maybe? A few troublesome women on there turf they'd rather not deal with themselves?Perhaps. Whatever it was about, all Sally knew was that she was getting paid. A lot. And immunity from the law? That was like a free ticket to heaven for an assassin like her! She stared up at the wall, her pride and joy mounted proudly for all to see. She had other rifles sure, but that one... It was special. He'd be proud to know how powerful she had become... A few moments later, she had drifted off to sleep, pencil dreams of home dancing in her mind.

"Is it done?"

"Yes master, all the packets have been delivered, and all three seem more than willing."

"Good."

"Umm, master? May I ask what we plan to do next?"

"Wait. Wait and watch"

Selinia lay silently on the board, gripping Leo's small hand as he clutched the wood. Her skin tingled in the warm light of the sun, a pleasurable feeling radiating through her. She stared upward as they moved, watching th clouds pass by. So this was the surface... Her mind wandered along with the clouds, as she drifted in and out of consciousness. The spell had taken nearly all of her energy, leaving her drained. For some reason she felt... Safe. She didn't fear that this would hurt her while she slept. Soon she was fast asleep, soft waves lapping against her bare body

"It's very nice to meet you Leona." He stayed seated, inspecting her from behind his mask. "You were brought by plane after I purchased you from that aquarium. It didn't seem right for someone as beautiful as yourself to be ogled by stupid tourists, incapable of understanding your true intelligence." He still spoke in his accented Mer, though it was warped slightly by the water. "And these," he gestured to the long black flippers. "A crude replica of you species tail. They serve their purpose, but not nearly as well as the real thing." He drifted out of his seat, giving the woman plenty of space. He didn't want to frighten her by moving closer. "Frighten. Who am I kidding? She 's more likely to break me in half than run away!" Gesyuring for her to follow him, he moved down the long hall leading to the bedroom. "I hope you slept well? I tried to make this place as comfortable as possible, but I never was sure about the bed"

Vennidal propped her brother up against her, shaking her head sharply. "No one is going to come looking for us. I can promise you that. Can we just go please? He needs someplace to rest and you can protect yourself perfectly fine, surely." She added quickly, "I mean you live in a cave after all." "Yes, go ahead and reveal all your secrets why don't you! It's not like you wanted to keep knowing she's a dragon a secret or anything! Honestly, what is going on with me today?" The girl tried her best to pull her brother a short distance, but failed miserably. "I can't carry him by myself. Please, let's just go. I... I don't like being alone in the dark..."

Knocking back yet another shot of the clear liquid before her, Sally slammed the glass back down onto the table. Her piercing eyes remained locked on her opponent, a stocky black man, in a wife beater and sweats. "Your turn." The glazed look in his eye clearly indicated that they were almost finished. She took a quick scan of his vitals, finding that his BAC was already at .23. He wouldn't last much longer. Her prediction was quickly proven when the man reached for his glass, missed, lost balance, and fell in an unmoving heap on the bar floor. She rose from her chair to a cheer. The two had been at it for so long , nearly 45 minutes now, they had drawn a small audience. Never one to shy away from the spotlight, she bowed, a smug smirk plastered on her face. She turned, scooping up the 300 dollars bet on the table, save fore taking one last swig from the nearly empty vodka bottle. " I will be back tomorrow night if any of you baby men want to try your hand." Scattered laughed came from the crowd as they watched her leave, without even a hint of wobble to her walk.

Sally knew she was just fueling the Russian stereotype, but drinking was to much fun! Probably her second favorite activity after shooting people. She walked quickly down the darkened street, distracted by her newfound wealth and the copious amounts of alcohol. Though she could hide it well, the night had definitely taken its role in her body. Before she could react, she felt someone's hand enter her pocket. She whirled around to see a figure bolt off into the night. To her surprise, rather than stealing, the pickpocket had left something. She pulled out a small sack embroidered with a large red V. She tugged at the drawstring, stopping dead when she saw the contents. Several thick stacks of hundred dollar bills, and a small paper. She snatched the note, which also had the red V on it. Skimming the words, a small wicked smile grew.

"Good evening my dear. You don't know me, nor will you ever. It is of little consequence. This sum of money is my gift to you. An advanced payment of sorts. There is plenty more for you, should you except my offer. Enclosed you will find two pictures. The woman in these photos are... Problematic to me. Eliminate them. On completion of this task you will receive a deposit of 15,000,000 dollar into you account, along with complete immunity from law enforcement permanently Do not be fooled, these woman are no feeble damsels. They won't go down easily, but I trust you can handle it. Most humbly, V"

The hunt was on.

(Sorry this took so long. I will post in the other one today as well. I will try not to make this extended silence a habit)

Vennidal gritted her teeth, glancing between the woman and her brother. This had gotten way to complicated, way to fast. Of course they weren't trying to hurt the dragon, far from it! She had really just wanted a cheap ticket someplace calm in the woods. Someplace where her brother wouldn't hurt people. "No we don't want to hurt you but... We aren't exactly running from a bad life. Please, we just need to get somewhere safe for my brother. He's all I've got..." Her voice genuinely broke on the last word, as she was unable to control her emotions. "Get ahold of yourself! Nows not the time to go all teary eyed!" A small noise from behind made her stiffen. Had they been followed? She listened closely, but couldn't hear anything. Had she imagined it?

So like the fantasy RP I'm not going to go into extended detail for this. We all know the gist of it so I'll keep it short.

You live in the worlds first "Ultropolis," a gargantuan city spanning hundreds of miles. Due to its powerful police force, the place is a virtual utopia, housing almost no crime. Almost. One form of crime still thrives in this wasteland of justice. Assassins. Silent, deadly stalkers, eliminating targets with ruthless skill. Each with their own unique style, it is unknown how many are active within the great cities borders, but one thing is known for sure. If your numbers up, they will find you.
