A couple of questions about where these rings can be found. The opening post states, "These selected places can be any page on PokéHeroes (excluding the forums and special event pages)." Does this mean we could have a ring hiding on some random Pokémon or user page, that we have to search through every single one if we're missing a ring? Also, does the quest automatically take into account pages we can't access (like the VIP Settings page for those of us who are not VIP, and the details page for the gem exchange when we don't have enough gems to offer)?

If you happen to attract a shiny to the tree, does it tell you the pokémon is shiny? Does the image change? Does the alert text at the bottom where the pokéballs are change? I've always wondered this and figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Thanks, yall! ♥

I know I have seen this somewhere before but I cannot remember now for the life of me. Where can one see when one's premium expires?

EDIT: Aaaand I just realized I double posted since the last post here was mine (almost a week ago). >,< I'm sorry!

EDIT EDIT: Thank you, Maniac! ♥

I have all the chips, but I didn't realize that Combee were labeled as "Special" for some silly reason. That makes zero sense to me, but whatever. Thank you for the explanation! ^.^ ♥

What determines what type - and how many - pokémon end up available there? According to the wiki, "In the Tall Grass you can look for eggs that have been sent to the wild", but where are they coming from? The question has been asked before about what happens to your pokémon when you release them, and the answer was given that they are deleted. So... where do these "wild" pokémon come from? I had thought perhaps it may have been from eggs not claimed at the Daycare, but I tested that. I let a couple of my eggs get released, and the pokémon type never showed up to be hunted in the Tall Grass. I know this isn't the most pressing of questions, but I have been wondering about it for some time now and thought I might finally ask. Thanks! ♥

Thank you for the explanation, but in the example that guide gives, the content is in a bordered box with the title "Custom Widget". Is the image just outdated? Also, does this content count towards the character limit for the About Me section?

Yes, that would be fine! ^.^ I don't see the trade, though. Could you check on that pretty please? Thank you! ♥

A few more...

1. Do eggs gathered from Rumbling in Alola break chains?
2. Does getting the Legendary Cosmog from the Tall Grass break chains?

EDIT: Thank you for the answers! Updooting the first post to make it easy for folks to get to the good stuff...

As long as the protection is something you have to somehow play the game to achieve, such as purchasing an item to get the protection effect, full support. It doesn't have to be cheap. If you're willing to invest the time into earning the item to give you the status, that's not really making anything too much easier. It's just making the Honeytree more viable as a hunting method. Why do I say this? Two reasons. One, you're still investing time into gaining the desired result. You're not sitting at your screen refreshing every few minutes to see if something you want is there or if you need to shoo something away, but you're theoretically investing a comparable amount of time into getting that protection effect. Either way, the time investment remains intact. Second, it's a buff. You're not going to be able to cancel this. Sure, you have protection, but your honey is just sitting there being useless until the buff wears off, and if you're not there to watch over it, tough cookies. Likewise, if you end up being available earlier and the buff is still in effect, oh well. Bottom line? This is not a cure-all or perfect solution. You're still going to have to be diligent and plan as best you can. As I've said, this is merely an idea to potentially make hunting at the Honeytree slightly more efficient.

Total side note - would be kind of awesome if this item would be made one of the rewards at the Golden Slot Machine. Perhaps this is too harsh, but a rarity that is roughly equivalent to the Rare Candy seems about right to me.

I've seen profiles with stuff underneath the "About Me" section and I'm wondering how it's done. I looked at the BBCode guide but don't understand how it's supposed to work, and the pages I have seen with this customization don't have a widget with a proper border like in the example, it's just stuff on the regular background. Could someone who is familiar with this please explain it for me? Also, does this have to be within the character limit for the About Me section, or how does that work? Thank you for any help. ♥

(Edit: I did search through the Help section for this but only went back to page 10 on the Answered section, since that's almost a year. My apologies if I missed it somehow.)

This seems like such a stupid question, but... where do the pokés you trade on the GTS go? I have room in my party but they are showing up there... and they're not in my first box, either. Getting a little worried, so I figured I'd ask before I start truly freaking out.

So I {finally lol} just unlocked the cooking pot and I'm wondering, will it only accept berries out of my item bag or if I grow the berries can I use those (to cook)? Kind of a simple question, but one I haven't seen answered anywhere, not even in the wiki. Thanks! ♥

I need a ton of starters. Are those classed as basic or would they be more? The ones I need first are: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Bulbasaur, and Treecko. I know this will take a while, but I see that you're currently having a special whereby an order of 5 allows us to also take home an event poké. If that's still going on, I would ask for a Festival Ralts, pretty please. Let me know about the price for the starters? Thank you, have an awesome day! ♥

Before I get into my questions, I would like to preface this with a statement. I realize that the release has only just happened and that there are still many things to be worked out. My questions are in regards to plans for their future here on PokéHeroes. Now then, let's see...

Questions answered:
A1. Evolution: They are able to evolve via "normal" means.
A2. Tall Grass: New chip is out in the Item Mall - we can now hunt Alolan forms in the Tall Grass!
A3. Breeding: Breeding two Alolans will always result in an Alolan.
A4. The new stone: To use a Nebula Stone, go to the Tall Grass.
A5. Shiny Chain: Rumble eggs and pokémon do not break chains, but the Tall Grass Cosmog will.

That's all for now. I'll start a new post if I think of more. Thanks! ♥

The best and most reliable way I have ever found to make money here is simply to click. Hover over your Community button up on the top right and select Union Room. From there, select Click Lists. When you then get on one of the lists, all you have to do is hold down the the "N" key and click/feed pokémon. It goes pretty quickly and, while the amount you get from this varies, it's reliable if you have a little bit of time to spend. Total bonus: not only do you get PD from this, you also get game chips for the Game Center, and you can even get dream points for it! The dream points you have to claim, however, it's not automatic.

Dream Points stoof: Hover over your Town button at the top and head on over to the Emera Mall. Step into the second store listed there, the Dream World Shop. Up at the very top, you'll see something that says, "Need more Points? Click here!". Click dat. This page is where you can claim free dream points for doing stuff around the site. Simply complete the tasks that are listed, and click the links to claim the points. You can use these points to buy plushies. ^.^ If you haven't unlocked this feature yet (I can't remember now if you even have to unlock it >,<), don't stress. You'll get to it eventually. Just something to think about. ♥

About your original question: I've seldom gotten a pokémon to attack that blasted tree in less than 3 hours. It takes time. Do your clicks, get your Alarm Clock (this thing is absolutely indespensible here, you need this), slather your tree in honey, and wait. Watch your notifications and check it at least once an hour. Best you can do.
