Rosaline slowly removes her mother's hand from her hair. "mom, this is a school, not some fancy outing." they had already arrived at the school, but her mom had spent 10 minutes trying to perfect rosaline's hair. "still," her mom sighed. "what if you meet the love of your life there? you know, your father and I were in the sam-" "yeah yeah, the same college, and then you only knew he existed because he stopped hiding behind his long hair or something. seriously that is very weird."
her mother shrugged, and finally let go. " you know, I really don't like that you're going to live alone here... I should just sell the company" rosaline just shook her head and looked at her watch. " uncle nightray is close enough anyway"

marie pats asumi on the back as she approaches the sorting ha- the teacher. she hears the cheers of her fellow schoolmates and their excitement. she did a little bow and stood patiently.
