The boar-ish like man seems to share the enthusiasm of the small gender not conforming that is currently on their back "You tell em, epic Androgynous knight" he says as a reply to Ava telling him to go forward. His words were soon followed with him dashing around with them on, yet it doesn't take long to realize, he has no idea where he is going, He has been blindly running qroudt for a few minut before the bell rang "Ah, that wasn't very fruitful." He stops on one spot, the funny lad still on his back as he stares blankly into space before asking "I don't know where the next class is"

The boar-ish like fella seemed to follow up his high energy by doing another flip infront of Ava. He very elegantly spun through the air before sticking a pretty cool landing with his hands crossed and dumb yet confident grin on his face. "Haha, Nope, I am actually Tarkus Beowulf but you can call me anything you want" He chuckled before looking around, notice the other two people had left "Oh did I scare them, my apologies funny Gender Not Confirming lad, didn't mean to scare of your friends :o" he tells Ava as he looks genuinely apologetic "Let's go catch up to them!" He says as the giant seems to crouch, seemingly offering a piggy back ride.

"GOOOD MORNING EVERYBODY" A thick Boston accent is heard as the door of the English class suddenly gets kicked open as a two meter tall man walks in "I am sorry for being late! I was rushing to get here so I tried jumping over some stairs but instead I feel and rolled on the floor for a good minute, HAHA, I think I am having a concussion!" The lad shouts as he confidently walks towards his desk. Two steps before he reaches his seat, he suddenly turns and shouts towards the group of Ava, Thea and Rosaline "I AM HIGH! ARE YOU???? HAHAHA, just kidding HAHAHA...unless...Hahahah" He follows his hearty laugh with backflipping then taking a seat behind them.

Personality: Tarkus is very much the human equivalent of a dog, he is energetic, easily distracted and becomes fiercely loyal over any niceties made towards him. With that being said he isn't the brightest, far from it actually as he tends to be quite dim witted and reckless which often leads him getting injured as a result of his badly thought out stunts. Something he prides himself on is his gut, he claims to sense bad vibes when he sees them and can sniff out bad people right away, this however doesn't seem to be the case of the time, leading to Tarkus dissing people who have weren't intending anything malicious. Additionally he is a very sportsy person and quite likes going out for what he calls adventurers, in other words things like skating, hiking, running, and partaking in treasure hunt like events.

As the two apprentices moved forwards, the world started shifting around them as the cosmos began taking form, the meaningless abyss slowly warping into the shape of the palace corridors, the walls were colourless but small light particles of various colours filled the room "This is lingering magic" Opal said "it's reminants of previously casted spells, they don't stay for long" they said as they walked. Mid way through the corridor they noticed their own bodies sitting down, they were motionless, as if they were corpses as Opal spoke "Don't touch your body unless you want to get bolted back" they finished as the kept walking. (If you do something in between, please add in, I don't want to take your chance to look at yourselves away), they quickly began their tour, showing off basic rooms which the apprentices would need along with shortcuts around the palace. All that seemed cool until they got to Opal's work station. It was colored purple, the same hue as their transparent teacher, probably due to the amount of magic casted inside it. "After that we will check on the king's areas, the colours there are rather lively" they added with a smile.

The orb glows to a baby blue before everything around the room seems to start shaking, the walls seem to turn to dust as the visage of the galaxy started to take over the surroundings, in the blink of an eye the apprentices find themselves floating the middle of the cosmos, their bodies transparent, tinted with whatever colour means the most to their person. A purple rope is wrapped around one of their hands, the knot is not too tight, its only firm enough to be reassuring and safe. In front of the two students is a slightly off version of their teacher, they seem to be a very flowy, their hair much longer, almost as if they suddenly aged up. Opal upon spotting them began to clap "Bravo, first try as well, I am so proud of you" They said with a smile as they began to effortlessly swim around them. "Don't worry,it will take you a second to get the hang of moving here but once you get it its gonna be a breeze" they add on as they begin to carve a path in front of them, a rather neat cobble road forming from thin air, the cosmos replacing the sky.

The orb seemed to instantly react to Kalinda sitting down as its colour shifted from orange to a pastel pink and then to a welcoming green, this seemed to make Opal happy as a smile formed on their face once again. "That's a great sign, it is most certainly a good omen" With that said, their focus swiftly returned to the ritual. As they continued the area seemed to get heavy, it felt like magic was slowly concentrating around the orb. Opal begun speaking again as they awaited for Valentin to sit down as well "I will be your guide to the Astral Plane, just remember, never leave my side, You might get permanently lost in the cosmos" their light-hearted tone seemed to vanish as their elegant,soft voice seemed to toughen up during the warning. "Mind you this won't last more than 5 minutes, you are still young and trying to push any further could take a toll on you if not worse. Of course, as you progress through your journey, your connection to the stars will strengthen and so will your understanding of magic. But please, do not worry, for I foresee great things in your path." the serious aura seemed to swiftly come to an end as their excitement seemed to return.

As soon as both student's confirmed that they wanted to partake in the lesson a purple carpet flew out of Opal's backpack as it perfectly set itself down on the floor. " I would like to give you a fair disclaimer" They said as they took a seat and signed at the two young mages to join them. As they set their orb in the middle of the carpet they continued with "Not everyone gets it right the first time, astral projection is more of an intermediate exercise since it requires alot of concentration and control, but I believe you two could get it" They say again as the orb suddenly shines brightly again.

Opal seemed to not have picked up on what was happening right away due to how much was currently filling up their mind but they instantly fell back to earth the moment the worry of their to be students became apparent. "Hmm, don't be alarmed, it appears that your arrival happened to coincide with a rather eventful evening, This must explain Tirik's sudden departure... Well then..." Opal thought for a quick second, on how they should approach this before speaking again "Would you be interested in a lesson right now? Of seeing magic in its purest form?" Opal's tone isn't very easy to read as their words surroundedin a cloud of mystery, Their soft voice being paired with this reoccurring warm, almost motherly smile as the seemed to reach for their backpack.

Opal seemed to ponder for a quick second "I don't wish to kill off their excitement but your observation is far from incorrect, divination is a very personal and time-consuming subject to indulge in, I doubt I could put a halt to once I begin, hmmm" after thinking for another second they replied "Since this was to happen at one point regardless, shall I propose a compromise? We could guide them through the palace's most impressive sight, then proceed in presenting all the utilities they may need like the kitchen, their rooms(I assume they will also be staying there, if not please ignore this) and a resting place then once we are to begin training, we could simply split into pairs and let the students decide on who they would prefer to observe today. Would this be possible? We could always swap in case you prepared a lesson for two." The Seer proposes, even if the conversation was between them and Tirik, his tone seemed to imply that they would take the apprentices' opinions into consideration before going through with this.

Opal lets out a kind hearted chuckle based on the 3 death cards comment. "Not exactly what happened but it is a charming tale regardless." He stop chuckling and adjusts his blindfold "Say I am sure your grip thing will amaze them but maybe we should really take a step back shall we! We are here showing them all these wild tricks, we should start simple and let them explain their reason for partaking in said apprenticeship, after all, this isn't quite the easy thing to aim for, they must have big dreams to try and pursue an education from royal mages." He says with a smile as he realizes that he should probably pull back on all the magic performances that were being displayed, it would be unprofessional to get too heated. "I am sure they have a lot to say, we should chat it over as we give them a little tour, this is their first time in the palace after all" they say with a wide smile forming on their face once again. Since they knew both do them were excited to see the ins and outs of the palace they decided to treat them to said tour.

Opal seems to be taken aback for a quick second but they quickly compose themselves. "I see what you are trying to do here..." they say as their usual smile is placed onto their face once again "You are attempting to impress them through showmanship, a commendable attempt I have to say. Sadly my art isn't built to impress, so do not expect any insane showmanship to occur." They say in a very saddened tone "But-" they suddenly continue "The spiritual trip which this journey invokes is so personal and eye-opening that I genuinely believe will even out the lack of pazzaz. If I may demonstrate" They say as they put both their hands in front of them, cupping them together as the orb starts levitating once again, emitting the same blue light as before. "I could help guide you through these realms, prepare you for anything that comes our way" They say in a cheery tone and a wide smile on their face. Suddenly the orb lets out a small vibration as the peaceful sound of windchimes is heard, for a brief second everyone in the room is met with a beautiful visage of various realms, its a moment of absolute purity as it feel like a look into ones on self. This illusion varies slightly from person to person in order to properly represent their own self. As the illusion comes to an end, the orb that was previously there is replaced with a deck of cards as they ask one singular question "May I give you a reading?".

Opal's expressions seems doubtful, its feels as if it pierces right through you, they lift their orb and point it towards the two young mages as it begins to levitate and emit a faint blue light. Opal is quick to find out what they were up to in the last 15 minutes, since their magical aura is weak, it wasn't too hard to uncover it. They look very judgmentally towards their direction for a second as they began to slowly walk closer, something which would be a lot more intimidating if they weren't so small(149/4'9), they slowly opened their mouth waiting a second they finally begin speaking
"I am assuming you are just really eager, you should really show me that shortcut someday" Their voice was cheerful, actually maybe a bit too cheerful, it was really obvious how excited they were to teach some new kids about their craft. They quickly extended their hand towards Valentin ,since he talked first, offering them a handshake "My Name is Opal, I assume you are..." they playfully tap his forehead with their free hand "Valentin, correct?" he let out a playful smirk before their head turned towards the other apprentice "and you are..." it takes them a quick thought to continue "Kalind-a? Kalind-o? Not sure, it takes me a second to fully grasp everything, my sincerest apologies"

(sorry i just saw tirik reply but i don't want to delete all of it ,so i will act like this happened before he came around the corner)

Opal's entire positive energy gets halted as they hear Tirik's voice from behind them. "I would have you know these two seem to be very eager to learn about my craft, apparently they took a 'shortcut' to get here quickly, isn't that lovely? Wouldn't want to scare them away with any wild beast on their first day now,would we?" They say in an almost smug tone

Opal begun tapping their finger on the table as they were waiting for the apprentices who were taking longer than expected. They let out a sigh and begun talking to themselves "Maybe something happened to them or even worse..." they find themselves grunting as the mention the name " Tirik could be talking them up about summoning, what a personality they are, I do hope they didn't stumble upon him, I should check on them" As they place their orb delicately on the table they begin to quietly chant something, upon the end of said chant, a spectral blue raven takes form and quickly begins to search for the two apprentices, leaving a blue trail behind for Opal to follow. The bird is quick to find the two apprentices as Opal begins their way to the young mages.

Opal woke around the same time as the rest. As per usual their sleeping position mimics what one would expect from a meditational like exercise, sitting with their legs cross as their hands rest on their thighs. As they begin to move, purple scented candles placed around the room suddenly light up to provide Opal with a nice aesthetic which they find to be a very comforting to wake up to. After a quick stretch, their hand move towards the nearby counter successfully getting hold of their Magical Orb, they make sure to properly brush it before continuing on with their routine. Once they were done they started getting dressed, wrapping a pastel pink blindfold around their face, they proceed to put the rest of their clothes on in a rather faster pace then finish off their routine by packing up their backpack filled with various books and materials that could possibly be used for any sort of magical need. Lastly, their tarot deck was very gently placed inside a special pocket and to make sure it safe and with that they quickly made their way to The Mage Zone, the candles behind them getting lit off as the door closes behind them.
Upon reaching The Mage Zone, they embraced themselves for the inevitable unwanted visitor which would drop by their area as they prepared today's lesson.
