Unlocked by visiting the Daycare in Sunny or Very Sunny weather (minimum Trainerlevel 20)

Same thing happened to me. (I'm on a mobile device too). It displayed the 'Gurdurr tried to attack you' popup when I clicked on the Honey. But I couldn't see the Gurdurr, so I couldn't tap on it. It must've disappeared after a few minutes, because I can claim the Honey now. I don't have a new honeycomb though (currently have 2).

Eternatus requires an Eternamax Evolution, not Gigantamax, so it needs more Crystals than a regular special-rarity mon. (Though yes, this should be clearly stated on the wiki).
