Clarisse was walking towards the Golden Deer dorms to meet up with Brigette, when she saw her dashing out.
"Clair!" The younger girl called out. CLarisse didn't have any idea why Brigette had chosen that nickname "You're here! I need your help!" The mage then calmed down and continued: "You see, I was trying to find a way to make our strikes more impressive, and I need your opinion. What do you think about this?" Brigette stepped back, and repeated the kick she had practiced for a while now. While her leg extended, she slapped her own thigh, which mad a sound not dissimilar from that of a kick hitting the target, but louder.
"Well, that sounds great. Any other ideas?" Clarisse asked.

Clarisse stared at Marcus "Can't he see me? And why's he calling me Clari?" She thought, confused.
Her confusion partly slipped in her tone when she spoke: "Brigette isn't with you, huh? Given that you've been in the library for a while, she's probably practicing for our show." She stopped for a second, then continued: "Now that I think about it, I should meet with her so to practice some paired moves..."

"Hiya!" Brigette kicked the air, her leg tensing completely, her foot just under where Clarisse's chin would have been. "Huh, I need to find a way to give it a little more oomph..."
