Max's eyes widen as he felt the tip of the blade on his back. Fear. Lots of fear was filling his body. He was still angry though. But now, Max could feel his own heart beating in his eyes.

"Y-your p-p-pow-power is me-messed up," he hissed at Kurrata, barely able to stop his teeth from chattering. 'Focus, I need to get out of this situation! Something! Anything!' Max tried to focus on his surroundings, desperate to break free. He clawed the dirt and threw it at Kurrata's face, trying to blind him for a few seconds to break free.

Azreal was trying something different, he formed a shield in front of Saya. With his shields right in front of her, he would be able to block her lightning in any directions. He glared at Mina behind her.

"That was an expensive shield, you know." Without his shield, he had no other weapon currently as Star called her knife back. He had to get creative with his powers now, not something he likes to show.

Azreal spun the knife he still had from Star, cutting up the strings surrounding him. Then jumped over his barrier, over the strings that were trying to hold him back. With his shield, he threw it at Mina, trying to pin her down with it.

Hearing the crackle of lightning, Azreal saw Tempest in danger, "Watch out!" He quickly created a shield in front of Tempest to protect her from the electricity.

Max growled, realizing it was Kurrata with a knife at his throat and his arm pinned behind him. A mixture of fear entered Max, who could feel his legs trembling now. But still filled with bloodlust, Max was at a slight dilemma at what to do.

At the touch of Kurrata's hand on his neck, Max panicked, swinging his free arm backwards to hit Kurrata. This caught them both off-guard. Max saw an opportunity to tackle Kurrata to the ground and without thinking, started to strangle him.

"Urgh..." Max grunted as he pushed himself off the ground. His eyes widen when he saw his empty hand. The heavy realization came over him as he whipped around in time to see villain stabbing Arnoi. Almost like instinct, Max activated his power.

Max's Current Power: Kurrata's Emotive Restriction (Bloodlust/Fear). Max copied this power when Kurrata kicked him in the back. What Max is aware of: Holy cow, I want to kill someone.

Max's vision turned red and he uttered a growl. He dashed towards Kurrata but missed as Kurrata dived into the shadows. Max yelled, "COWARD! GET BACK HERE!" Max clawed the ground. The bloodlust overwhlemed Max's rational thoughts.

Azreal reached for the knife that Star sent for him, "Thank you!" He quickly cut the string binding him. He was about to face Mina again when he heard the gunshot. He turned to see Star falling backwards. He cursed under his breath, the heroes were under a huge disadvantage here. He didn't account for the villains targeting the heroes in the back.

He could fall back and shield the heroes the best he could, but then the heroes would be sitting ducks for the enemy. But he would be able to better protect them. Azreal gritted his teeth, created a barrier in front of him and ordered it to slam into Mina as he ran behind it.

(Think of the barrier doing a wall slam at Mina. People normally run into walls. This time, the wall is running into the person)

	Max gave a sigh if relief, "Thanks for the assist guys." The relief didn't last long when he saw Arnoi get tackled. He wasn't sure what was going on but when Max saw the knife floating, he ran to grabbed it and tried to kick Kurrata off Arnoi. Trying to not give her any breathing room, Azreal charged towards Mina, attempting to bash her with his shield. [Read more]
