A Staravia, eh? A snarl tore from her throat as the Charizard moved to protect Ceilin. As soon as she saw the Flamethrower ignite in Ruillit's jaws, another Dark Pulse was sent to collide head-on with the fire-type move in a massive explosion. Thrown back from the shock wave of the impact, she gritted her teeth and struggled to her paws that ached from exertion. It was risky since she was already damaged, but Leela knew she had to react fast while the smoke still hung heavy on the air and provided cover for her counterattack. Static electricity crackled around her body, and with a push she sent herself hurtling towards Ruillet enveloped in a Wild Charge. She could only hope they hadn't prepared a counterattack themselves.

Cherrywood is a small island off the coast of the mainland that is home to hundreds of domesticated Eevee. The main attraction for the tourists that pay to visit and interact with the friendly Fox-like Pokemon are the proud results of years of dedicated breeding; varying markings, colors, and even evolutions thrive in the peaceful prosperity of the sanctuary.

While many of the Eevee and its counterparts enjoy all the luxuries the island has to offer, there are some who long for the thrill of adventure outside their easygoing life. What all of them do not realize is that Cherrywood may not be paradise it seems to be on the surface of their perspective, and adventure may be just around the corner... Whether they want it to be or not.

For now, the cool fall air is a welcome reprieve after the summer heat. Content enough as they are, they seek the company and friendship of one another before they retreat for the winter.

Before she knew it the area burst into flames. Yelping as the heat singed her fur, she was lucky enough to immediately glance upward and, fighting back the pain from the burns on her body, released a Dark Pulse at Ceilin as she dove in. She knew she hadn't intruded on pack territory, so why were these Pokemon attacking her? No matter the case--there was no time to muse over her situation. It was crucial for her to defend herself from these aggressive strangers.

Leela had made her way behind a diner to sift through a garbage can that looked full and promising. The day was at its peak in Lumiose and so was the height of her hunger. However; despite how dirty she already was, she still preferred not to tip it and dig through a greasy mess just to find her next meal. Instead, she would very delicately grasp each non-edible item in her teeth and toss it to the side. Besides, she mused, this way the humans suspect nothing.

Of course, begging would have been easier. Many times she had sat on corners and performed tricks she learned from her previous master--more often than not she would get a pat on the head, but on rare occasions she would be tossed scraps from children or old ladies who cooed over her but gave her the same spiel every time: "I'm sorry, dear, but I just can't take care of another Pokemon." She knew she needed a wash to do this, but her energy had been spent roaming the city in the hot afternoon weather in search of lunch.

She hadn't planned to be targeted for lunch herself.
