Name: Koenas
Description: Koenas is a seemingly normal region. It is mainly forested, with little water to be found. Pokemon from every region are found here, for a reason no one has been able to decipher. Some speculate that the oddly beautiful island was manmade, and created to preserve pokemon, in a sort of reserve made to keep pokemon alive... forever. However, many people laugh at this theory because of the region's overabundance of common pokemon, such as Caterpie and Budew.

Name: Amira
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Description: Amira is about sixteen. She will usually be seen in (unfashionable) capris, and in riding boots. Her skin is slightly tanned, with freckles dotting her nose bridge, along with the brown circles crowding her arms. She cares little for her ratty mane of red hair. Her eyes are a solid ocean gray, and bags hang heavily beneath them.
Amira is as stubborn as a mule, and is about as unceremonious as one as well. She is uncomfortable under attention, but has a dream to explore all the regions. However, she does not have many friends, because of her gruff attitude towards most things. Yet, as a few trainers will discover, she has a soft spot in her heart that she reserves for the ones she cares about
History: When Amira was young, her parents and their co-workers discovered the Koenas region. The radio-activity level was off the charts, and it was unsafe to go there. Mysteriously, the radio-activity ebbed dramatically as Amira grew up. The company that her parents worked for deemed the island safe for humans to go to. It sent out a letter asking for brave young trainers to go explore. Amira signed up, and passed, along with nine other trainers. Since she did not have a pokemon of her own before, her parents gave her Marlee (the Venonat) to protect her and keep her company.

Name: Marlee

Description: Marlee is a small, vividly colored Venonat. Her eyes are slightly lighter than normal Venonat's, but she is much fluffier. She came with the dark-blue bow tie, and refuses to take it off, except for a weekly wash. She wears glasses, because her vision is incredibly poor, from trying to learn how to read late at night (she succeeded - she can now read highschool level books, and is ever improving) Her antennae alternate between bright blue and sunny yellow.
Marlee is a strong believer in the saying, "the pen is stronger than the sword." She prefers planning battles rather than going through with them. Some would go as far as to call her cowardly, because she rarely engages in a fight.
History: Marlee had a relatively normal childhood. Her parents laid the eggs, and flew away, as per usual. She and her two brothers grew up together, guarding each others' backs and sticking in a group of three awkward mutants. At least, until they grew old enough to evolve. When they did, the three of them agreed to disband their little group, and so they did. However, Marlee refused to evolved, claiming that she would "take hands over wings, every day, any day."

Species: Lopunny

Description: Dylann is a male Lopunny trapped inside a female's body. He is coal-black, except for the fuzz on his ears, which is bright maroon. He has been mistaken for a Zoroark before, and probably will again.
Dylann is socially awkward, and prefers to keep to himself. Yet, he is quite fond of his teammates, and feels protective over all of them, from nerdy Marlee to squabbling Zack and Avery. He can communicate roughly with Amira with simple sign language.
History: Dylann was always the odd one out. He never quite fit in with his clan. When he was born, his tribe rejoiced, because he was a female. His mother was especially glad, as male Bunearies are thrown out of the tribe to fend for themselves, as a remnant of some ancient tradition. His father, a loner, never met him.
Dylann dreamed of becoming a male Buneary one day. He told his mother about his wishes, hoping to gain support. He was sadly disappointed by her disgust, and was disowned. He was promptly expelled from the tribe, permanently.
He has spent the past few years of his life wandering the region, searching for things to fight. He mysteriously evolved one day, and some pokemon whisper that he evolved from the hate in his heart, the opposite of how he should of evolved, with a loving trainer.

Name: Bell

Species: Mareep

Description: Bell is one of the more unusual of the mutations. Instead of the normal pastel yellow Mareeps normally sport, Bell is a pure white, with four splotches of pink on her: one on her back, one near her chest, one below her tail, and one on the top of the curl on her head. Her face is a vivid blue, as her legs and tail are. The normally black stripes on her tail are navy blue, along with the orb at the end. Where yellow would be on the horns on her head are dark blue stripes, and where the black would be, electric blue. She always wears a cowbell threaded with pink string around her neck.
Bell appears to be laid-back, but is somehow always the first one to get up when her friends are attacked. If you asked anyone close to her, they'd say that she was lax, bordering on downright lazy. However, this is not correct, as she is somewhat paranoid and always on guard.
History: Bell was actually born in the Kanto region by a Flaafy who was from Koenas. In the first parts of her life, she was gawked at by strangers, as her owner was quite greedy, and always took advantage of her beautiful new specimen. Eventually, her money lust grew too large for her to control, and she auctioned off Bell for a mere 100,000 pokedollar. Bell never looked back.
The latter part of her life was no better. Her owner was just as horrible as the first, even more so. He, like the other "trainer", forced her into enclosures for people to look at, probe, pet, and the like. However, instead of shouting when she shocked a visitor because they got too close, he would beat her afterwords. She quickly learned to stand stock-still when visitors touched her.
Her monster of an owner gave her a cowbell with the pink ribbon looped through it, saying it gave her a country-ish feel. After he gave it to her, he warned, "If you ever take that off, I'll kill you."

History: Dylann was always the odd bunny out. His clan was a female one, meaning any males got kicked out, or in some instances, killed. His mother celebrated (his father was one of the wandering Lopunnies that bred with females in clans) that he was a female, and that he would not have to be kicked out. However, he never felt very female, and was uncomfortable being a female. He told his mother of this odd sensation of being male, hoping to gain her support. Sadly, he was disappointed with her disgust and was promptly disowned and kicked out.
For the next few years of Dylann's life, he wandered miserably throughout the land. He mysteriously evolved in a Lopunny, without the charm. People whisper that he evolved from HATE, not from the LOVE of a trainer.
Then, he met a mysterious trainer named Amira. She was searching the land for pokemon mutations (with a small ragtag team of three), like him. That's what you get for growing up in an uncleared radio-active region. Amira and her gang developed a rudimentary sign language for each other, even though they rarely use it.
His new trainer, after discovering the rest of her life-long partners, set him up for an operation to change him completely to a male Lopunny. The operation was a complete success, and Dylann now enjoys his days relaxing with Amira, who now studies the Koenas region.
