Sometimes, the .PNG is part of the name, but not the actual extension of the image. I fear that's what happened here.

Some pokémon don't have an image, which has been addressed here
An alternative is your internet connection not having enough bandwidth to load the image.

This usually happens if the Berries grew and were harvested in a different tab. They speed-grow in the new tab and disappear when refreshing/revisiting [catching up with the other tab].

Dimensions on a phone are different than on a laptop, so the maximum shown size is going to be different.

This happens if some points weren't counted when the Eggs were first shown. It recalculates your total and adjusts your prizes if necessary.

It does not randomly show more Stats for the Eggs, it updates the system and rectifies the prizes. [It might even show less after the recalculation]

Troll offers, in essence, are not scams. They're not lying about what they're offering.
However continuously offering on a specific user's trade(s) in an attempt to annoy them because you're angry, can be considered harassment and IS against the rules. If this happens again (to you, or anyone else) that user can be reported.
