"Okay..." Cruel was still trying not to laugh. He began to speak to his team.

"Because I was born for water, I can speak and hear better than you can under water. I'm going to be going slow most of the time while I'm under water, since sharks will not attack you if you move slowly, and piranhas wouldn't attack a predator of the sea. Let me know if I need to speed up." Cruel was ready to take hits; he was fine with it.

Duo had never touched water before, so he wasn't sure if he could hover underwater or not. If not, he may not be able to join this. Cruel, meanwhile, was a water-type Pokemon, but not a fast or strong swimmer. He preferred doing other things in his free time. Neither of the two of them wanted to talk to anyone right now; Duo because it'd be awkward for him and Cruel because he hated everyone there.

	(If you say so) "Okay then..." Duo was a bit confused, but he marched over to Tenta's side anyways. Tenta looked down at Duo, then looked away with a very emotionless expression in his face. Tenta thought Duo was stupid, but he was the closest thing he had to a friend here, so it'd be fine for him. [Read more]

So, there's a Pokemon Cruel hadn't met yet. He wanted to get to know him, but not to be too sudden with it. "Alright." He had a good feeling that this Pokemon was a team leader and he was now on their team, and he'd be satisfied if he was correct.

Duo watched Cruel leave and had some kind of bitter feeling about it. He did save his life, if what he had said was right, but now he was leaving him. Duo didn't really think much of it, though, he'd still make a decent acquaintance if nothng else.

So, then they were choosing teams. Duo's attention span was short, so his head instantly twitched over to looking at the Pokemon standing up, and he would ignore his current situation if his Brionne friend wouldn't continue crying.

Cruel wasn't very excited with this. He didn't like anyone here and almost wished he'd do these tasks on his own team so he'd leave the island without having to know anyone.

(Morning, everyone.)

Cruel began to slowly move towards the seats, but noticed Duo was still looking at the hallway walls. He grabbed him with a tentacle and began to walk over towards the chairs at the end of the hall.

Duo couldn't exactly sit down, so he just hovered above a seat. He tried to pay attention to what was happening, but often got lost in his own thought, thinking about other things, like what would have happened had he crashed in the plane. Cruel lifted a chair and placed it a bit away from the group before collapsing onto it. It was along day already for him, between jumping out of a plane, saving a life, and having to swim such rough waters, so being able to sit down and relax was the last thing he would have expected to do.

	Duo was completely ignoring everyone and was more focused on the temple. He couldn't make any conclusions on it. Meanwhile, Tenta was completely in the conversation. "Come on, you guys. Why would they suddenly host such a big game like this just to kill off the contestants? It just makes no sense. You all will be fine." It almost annoyed him that everyone was acting so bipolar. Both Duo and Tenta were sent to some kind of hall, still dripping wet. Duo decided to examine the area to see what it could be. Even though he was positive it was a part of the challenge, he still had that small bit of 5-year-old in him that wanted it to be some kind of magic place that would give him some kind of blessing or something. But that wasn't happening. Cruel, meanwhile, looked down the hall to see if anyone would come down. He was curious about why he would be transported here, of all places.

	Cruel and Duo both looked up eagerly at Rinko. Cruel spoke for them both. "We'd both appreciate that, thanks a bunch for your help." He hopped right into the boat, hoping his tentacles wouldn't take too much space from this kind Pokemon. Duo just tried to find his own corner of the boat to sit in. [Read more]

"The name's Cruel. I'm just another kid like you- I want to win this competition and came here to do that. There's not much else to say except I'm not the strongest swimmer, so do you mind floating to the shore?"

"Oh, no problem."

Duo felt like using Psychic to carry Cruel to the shore would hurt him, as he's poison-type, but didn't care to ask because he felt like it'd be a stupid question. So, he began to hover towards the shore, slowly but surely.

Cruel finally landed in the water, and the Pokemon in the boat were easing away from him. Too late. They were speeding up, almost as if it was to go away from the two of them. He grabbed the Duosion with two of his tentacles and began to swim before the Duosion woke up from the waves' strength. The Duosion began to panic.

"W-Who are you? What's happening?"

"The airplane crashlanded. You were asleep the whole time, and the other people here didn't want you to be alive, so I took matters into my own tentacles."
