He let out a breath, moving around a bit to keep his feet from hurting more then they already were. Waiting for these guys was just too much for him. They gave a specific time and he hoped they would at least try and come on time for a change. His eyes wandered over to the horizon and Asuna seemed to yell out to someone else. 'Well it's about time.' He thought and watched Andromeda make her way to their meeting spot. "Two down....two to go." He muttered to himself, itching to get inside the lab and pick his partner. Though it wasn't any competition for him. He knew exactly who he wanted and if anyone else wanted that same Pokemon well, lets just say they wouldn't be friends for much longer. He turned his attention to Andromeda. "Again...if we weren't ready we wouldn't be here." What was with this question? Like come on. Setting: We are all currently in New Bark Town in the Johto region, receiving our Pokemon from Professor Elm. Remember that all the starters are available here. Please be courteous to the other roleplayers and use "ooc" or "brackets ()" when you want to talk out of character about something specific, but I don't want this forum to be filled with just ooc posts. If you need to go into more depth use the sign up forum please. Other then that, remember the rules and minimum sentence requirement. Have fun. :) The sign up forum can be found here. Nikolai woke up with the sun in his eyes. His brow furrowed as he turned over onto his side and pulled the pillow over his head. He was definitely not a morning person. A small sigh escaped him as he heard his mother calling his name from the kitchen below. Slowly the red head sat up right, his hair splayed all over and in every direction. He rubbed his eyes and forced himself to stand up from the comfort of his bed and walk into the bathroom half awake. He did however wake up when he hit his side up against the counter and made him kneel over in pain. Soon enough his hair was tamed, bed made and outfit picked out and put on. Nikolai made his way downstairs and into their kitchen. The room smelt delicious. The smell of bacon and eggs made him sigh happily and forget about the fact that it was almost noon in their small little town. "Good morning dear." His mother said as she scooped some eggs onto his plate and set the bacon down on top. "Morning." He mumbled back, mouth watering. She just chuckled, and set the pan down and then took her place at the table. They ate in silence, which isn't really a bad thing in their house. It just meant that the food was delicious. Once he was full and after helping to clean up his mother asked, "Did you get everything ready for today?" Nikolai rolled his eyes a bit and nodded. "Yeah, I have everything. I'll be fine." He gave her a rare smile and walked out towards the front door, picking up the black backpack that was sitting on the ground. "I know dear...but well you are starting your journey and you're all grown up!" She managed to get out as she snapped a few unsuspecting picture. "But have fun, and don't forget to call whenever you can alright?" "Yeah...if I remember our number." He shook his head, teasing his mother a bit before exiting the house. He could hear his mother yelling at him from the closed door and a small laugh that followed. Nikolai took a deep breath and made the thirty second walk from their house to the professors lab. He didn't enter yet though as he was meeting the rest of the group in front so they could all take the first step of their journey together. [Read more] |

Welcome young trainer to the Johto region. You and your friends are finally able to start their Pokemon journey, and with today's technology we can now offer new trainers any starter Pokemon they'd like, from the Kanto starters all the way to the starters from Kalos. Isn't that just great? So why don't you come in further? Take a look at all we have to offer, make a decision and begin your journey. You and your four friends have finally decided that you would like to start your journey together. As always, all new trainers and coordinators begin in New Bark Town. Each one of you is a rival to the other, but remember to have fun and enjoy the journey as well. As you began to unravel the mysteries of the Johto region you also run into some very suspicious looking people. You slowly learn that they are Team Sun and Team Moon, each having an objective in mind. At first you and your friends paid them no particular attention, as they didn't bother you. But soon you heard the rumours, the whispers in the air of what each said team wanted to accomplish. You heard Team Moon is trying to capture the legendary Pokemon Yveltal to try and harness it's power once more to eliminate all the Pokemon that inhabit this area and then others. While Team Sun has been trying to capture Xerneas with the hopes of counteracting Yveltal's power and save the Pokemon. But what these teams don't know is that when these two forces meet it could mean the end of Pokemon and humans alike. Now that I have your attention, and all the goodies are out of the way, we have to set some ground rules for the roleplay. 1. All PH rules apply, no exceptions. 2. No Powerplaying or Godmodding. 3. No perfect characters (mary/gary-sues). Everyone has flaws. 4. This is a Lit roleplay. I do not want to see one liners. You must have a minimum of 4 sentences in your reply. That is a paragraph. Everyone can write that much, it isn't hard. 5. I understand English is not everyones first language so spelling mistakes every once and a while are alright. But if you start talking "lyke dis" then I will not hesitate to kick you out of the roleplay. 6. I will be accepting 7. To join, when posting your application I want you to tell me your favourite food. 8. Your characters will be between the ages of 14-16. They will all know each other as they are childhood friends. You will be going on this journey together. 9. I will allow sub plots, but please let me know what you are planning and with who so I can approve of it. 10. Romance...is allowed but please keep it PG and make sure it follows PH's rules. 11. Violence as in hitting and kicking each other is a no no. Battles are only done with Pokemon. 12. I kid, ignore rule seven, if you wish to join tell me your favourite animal and what country you reside in. 13. Swearing, even mild words, must conform to PH's rules. So using "*" to block out most of the word is a big fat no. You must change the word completely. Like I will most likely be using the word "fudge", but ideally I'd like to keep it to a minimum. 14. Try and keep the gender ratios as even as possible. 15. Humans only, no gijinkas. 16. Histories for your characters should be realistic. I don't want any slaves or being abandoned as a baby and left to fend for themselves. 17. You will get two chances. First one is a warning, second is probation (as in I will be watching you), and the third is being kicked out of the rp. That's it for now, and I believe covers it all. But if something comes up I have the right to add on. Yes you may choose any starter from any of the regions from Kanto to Kalos. So no this does not include the three new starters from Sun and Moon. As we don't know what their move set will be and don't know their evolutions they are excluded. Once a starter is taken, that's it. No doubles, just like in the game. First come, first serve. So the starters are as listed: Kanto: Bulbasaur, Johto: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile Hoenn: Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip Sinnoh: Turtwig, Unova: Kalos: Chespin, I will cross off the ones that become unavailable. This list will be handy for any new players that join if we open up for more. It was maybe a minutes walk with his stride. He pushed the door open and stopped, seeing quite a few new trainers around the lab picking out their Pokemon. 'Great...it better not be taken.' His brow furrowed as he closed the door behind him and walked further into the lab. The nice place about this lab was all the starters were available. This region didn't have their own so they had quite the selection. "Hey you're the prof right?" He said and walked up to Professor Cinamomo. The white lab coat sort of gave it away but it's better to be safe and ask then to just assume. For all he knew it could be some lowly lab worker. "Charmander is still available right?" He looked around at the other trainers and didn't see one out. [Read more] |

He hated the move and always put up a fight leading to him being a more brash and angry teenager. He can very calm and collective, usually keeping to himself and not talking to others. He leaves everything out on the battle field. For those that don't want to go to the page: SilverStar is right. If you don't want a pokemon to evolve then you must give it an everstone. That is how this game was made, and I doubt it is going to change in the future or because you ask for it to change. We want to stand out from other pokemon adoptable games and not blend in with them. That will also again, make the game easier to complete and where is the fun in that? [Read more] |
