Manty sounded a bit confused about the darkness himself, but suddenly the lights flickered on. The house was an odd combination of pink and purple. The thing that startled her a bit was the Noctowl sitting almost right in front of the door.

The Noctowl was a bit confusing with his words, but eventually he simply said they could do whatever. With a shrug, Edelwise looked up at all the books along the walls. Books could be fun, but she wasn't too fond of reading constantly.

Kristina opened the window in her room, breathing in the fresh, morning air. It felt wonderful in the mornings, and she would always feel that way. That's why she liked to get up earlier than a lot of people. Some complained about the noise she would make, but she would try her hardest to make as little as possible.

But anyways, today was the day she could get her own Pokemon. Her parents had allowed her to bring one from Hoenn when they first moved, but she hadn't wanted one from her home region. Kristina ran down the stairs as quietly as she could, for she doubted her parents were awake yet. That was alright because she would come back later. Without hesitation, Kristina opened the front door and headed out to the Professor's lab.

The fight was over before it honestly even started. The Sneasel and it's goons seemed surprised at how quickly Porygon-Z lost. Soon after Porygon-2 removed the strange, mind controlling device, it began speaking.

At the mention of salt in the sand, Edelwise frowned a bit. "Yeah, no kidding," she grumbled as she remembered getting a mouthful of the sand.

After it had explained why the beach was named so, she, Manty, and Pele were instructed to take the four goons back to the guild. With a grin, the Electrike hopped alongside their "prisoners", asking all sorts of useless questions and basically just rambling on.

After spitting out a majority of the sand, Edelwise helped Manty get rid of a few opponents. It wasn't long until they reached the end of the sand and found themselves near the ocean.

They weren't the only ones there though. Their target, the Sneasel, was there along with some Diglett, a Porygon-2 and a Porygon-Z. She was about to be the one to step out and stop the growing fight, but Manty beat her to it. So, in lieu of speaking, Edelwise stepped up beside her friend just as the Sneasel threw a weird device at the Porygon-Z.

The Electrike looked to their new opponent, one she knew didn't know what it was doing. Despite this, Edelwise got in position to fight. It was unavoidable at this point.

Edelwise prances behind Manty as he went up to the next floor. Every once in a while she would glance back to see if Pele was still following or if she had just been a figment of imagination. She really hoped it was the first.

As she glanced back for probably the fourth time, her paw snagged a loose rock. It caused the Elctrike to trip and faceplant in the sand. She picked herself up quickly and tried to spit the sand out. "I think I know why it's called Salty Beach..." She muttered, glaring down at the place she had fallen.

(@Kattata I adore her picture as well! Its so adorable! And I nearly just got bit by a giant spider while outside looking for Pokemon on Pokemon Go. Its nighttime and I couldn't see it >.<)

Edelwise and Manty made their way to Salty Beach, but when they got there a new Pokemon appeared. It could talk as well and it said it was a new recruit. "Yup! I'm Edelwise! I'm so glad to meet you Pele! Yay! New friend!" She yelled out while prancing around the Magby excitedly.

As they walked down the hallway, Pikipek flew up to them. He started talking about the evil Pokemon that were trying to brainwash others with the odd helmet things that she and Manty had picked up yesterday.

Edelwise was excited because this meant they could fight more bad guys! She followed Manty excitedly up to the outlaw board. The one Manty mentioned about a Sneasel was the one she had seen first and immediately she nodded. "Sounds good. Lets go!"

Edelwise groaned softly at the sound of Manty's voice. Her nest was rather comfortable and she honestly didn't want to move. At least until her friend mentioned their badge and fighting bad guys.

With those words she hopped out of bed, her signature grin in place. "Well, come on then! Let's get going!" She called, most likely waking anyone else who was still sleeping as she ran down the hall.

Once they reached the room, Edelwise stepped in quickly. It looked pretty nice and the nests looked comfy. Pikipek had barely left the room by the time Manty had fallen asleep in one of the nests.

Edelwise followed suit and took the remaining nest, laying down so that she was comfortable. She usually took forever to go to sleep, but tonight was an exception. She was out in a matter of moments, exhausted from all the exploring she had done.

Edelwise had never been a picky eater, and she was proud to say that she tried everything she could see. Her favorite thing were the Sweet berries. They were just like candy, and she was pretty sure she had had a couple too many.

When Manty asked who had cooked the meal, three Pokemon stepped out. They spoke for a while, but Edelwise just focused on eating until she was literally unable to eat anything else.
