That was odd for the sorting hat to say. At least that Ashley knew of, it had never said anything that would worry over half the school before. She turned to Angelina, “The sorting hat has never lied or was wrong before. What do you think all this means?” She wasn’t quite expecting the whole answer to what it meant but she just wanted to let her know that she believed her and just in case she had an idea of what it meant. ‘Evil is approaching, so build your strengthened bonds’ what kind of evil could be approaching? Riley jokingly puts up five fingers “And five, the person without a strategy or any of that” she listened to what the other two were saying while still watching the fight and she kept wondering if there is a chance that anyone here would be able to beat Sir Fisch or anyone at all. “Do you think there would be a better chance if there was a variety of different types of fighters on a team?”

Riley watched the three people fighting but she could not tell who it was, all she knew is that they were losing. She kept watching them to see how they all fight especially Sir Fisch so she could possibly have but not guaranteed a slight advantage. She saw two people she recognized as Tien and Kynik watching too and said, “So are any of you two participating in the next round?” She believed just by listening to their introductions that when they do go, they might actually have a chance at winning.

Riley saw multiple people introduce themselves which was helpful since now she might know more peoples names and thought she should do the same. “Hello, I’m Riley Lynch and if you need help with anything, I will always try to help you but there is no guarantee that I will be able too, sorry.” She went back to her seat slightly embarrassed but didn’t show it and just watched the rest of the people go.

Aubrey barely ate anything when she got a howler from her aunt. “DON’T THINK WE HAVEN’T HEARD ABOUT YOU MISSING CLASS YESTERDAY AND I DON’T CARE IF YOUR “SICK” YOU ARE JUST SO LUCKY YOUR MOTHER CAN’T SEND HOWLERS OR YOU WOULD’VE BEEN IN MORE TROUBLE THAN YOU ARE NOW! YOU ARE THE WORST THING THATS HAPPENED TO THIS FAMILY!” A howler for being sick? She felt so humiliated, it was only the second day of school and she was already off to a bad start. “Oh, ok then” she said still concerned why he wasn’t going back if it was almost curfew then but she didn’t want to argue. She went back to the common room thinking about what they could possibly be doing with eggs that they wouldn’t tell anyone. She should’ve known she would be caught eventually so why did she feel so confident about this time? It could’ve been because it was about food but who knows. She turned around and saw another gryffindor and she suddenly panicked. “Oh hi I was just uhh” she didn’t know what to say, of course he knew she was spying on them so there was no way out of this “I’m sorry for spying on you and your friends but what are you guys doing with eggs?” She was glad she could hopefully change the subject but she knew she was probably still in trouble.

	Aubrey walked past the Great Hall after feeling a bit better and heard someone say “egg” so she instinctively started spying on them.
