Technically, why not - in my original thought I was only considering it being a craftable item (meaning - cannot be bought or found - not exactly obtainable by normal means) but I don't think it would be able to break the game in any way

There is no such equivalent of gem dust in games, but well, I think it could be put into some use, so let me explain:
you would be able to trade (with Gem collector, I assume) Gem dust for gems, but also it would have to be balanced.
Let's say that for every 1 normal gem you would get 200 gem dust (current value of normal gem is 2000pokedollar according to stonks), and you could then trade it for 2 flying gems (current value of flying gem is around 1000pd)

Pros':
- Being able to get rarer gems without losing/gaining "market" value
- Not having to deal/wait for user trades in gem trading
- would normalise the price for a given gem, since the conversion would apply
Cons':
- Technically this removes the need for gem trading
- People would "grind" only one field within rumble areas (see [1] for a possible way to fix it)

I would also consider if this material would not be tradeable and be a key item instead.

If it were to be implemented, it would be interesting for it to have the bright power sprite or something:

[1] To maybe balance it more: some kind of PD "fee" for trading gems in? (Eg. 10pd for every gem, something negligible on a smaller scale, etc.)

Hello! I am curious, how destiny knot would affect shiny mega able chance of pokemon:
I know, that in the main series game shinyness was determined by IV's so just curious how it affects it in PH:

Situation 1:
Shiny(+ Destiny Knot) + any = ....?
I do not know if being megaAble means a specific kind of IV.

Situation 2:
Shiny(+Destiny knot) + megaAble = should be same as Situation 1

Situation 3:
Shiny(+Destiny knot) + Shiny(+Destiny knot) = should have the best chances at being shiny

I tried to find some information in Riako's posts about this, but found little to no information.
I won't be trying to hunt for perfect IV mon, though.

And bumping this once again.

As a new player, it is a struggle to find all previous event mons. They aren't cheap (for obvious reasons).

And I get that people would shiny chain the event mons and avoid the event pass.


Make the event pass still premium only, but the mons (outside the pass) you buy will not count for pokeradar.


I find this way it would still be fair to the new players (since by event distribution you'd play along the same rules, right? Doesn't count for your chain and so.)
