Kovu agreed, looking about the village with some worry. ''I guess I am really afraid about your mother...what she will say...what she could do...I don't want another war, but knowing her...she may try to pull one. What she was willing to do with your life, shows she is willing to do anything.'' He put a hand on her shoulder. ''Should we have scouts on other villages?"

Stryke couldn't help but smile and nod in agreement. ''Yes, of course! We always enjoy to throw all types of feasts for all the reasons. We threw one for three days over the birth of Rose. This is just as special. Now don't worry, I will give you credit for such a wonderful idea.'' He smiled, before moving to a spot in the village that was basically the center. ''I will tell Rose the idea as well, as she has to approve.'' He laughed.

Stryke went right after Fang happily, smiling eagerly. ''I want to warn everyone that this shall happen!" He went off to tell small groups of people or individuals.

Kovu smiled over at Rose with a laugh. ''Maybe because you are the leader now, you know how some leaders treat others better than another. Probably wants some benefits like a powerful position.'' He sighed.

Kovu sighed with a small nod towards Rose. ''I would be careful of him then. There has to be a big reason if your mother didn't want him around you...as she was okay with you marrying Hunter or his father even!" He shivered at the thought. ''Ugh, I still can't imagine you being Hunter's stepmother. Nope, will never get over that. However, if she was okay with them...then there has to be something really wrong with him.'' He then let a smile all on her. ''If you ever want to get away from him, just come on over to my farm or have Sapphire glare at him. That should be enough!" He laughed.

Stryke smiled excitedly. ''We shall have a feast for this grand celebration! Why didn't I think of that sooner!?'' He laughed. ''Come now, could you bring all that fish to the center of the village. Some people like to roast them over the fire, and I know you dragons don't mind them either way! Probably. Come now, it shall be fun!" He smiled.

Kovu looked a little concerned now that he knew that fact. ''Oh weird, I figured he would try to talk to you all the time! He surely doesn't talk to me...or my family. We were below him in his little chain of command.'' He sighed. ''Maybe now he feels like you two can be friends, unlike before.''

Stryke sighed in agreement. ''Quite. I am glad the bloodshed is over!"

Stryke agreed. ''I hope she sees family is far more important than anything else.''

Kovu looked over at Rose with an agreeing nod. ''Yes, he seemed a little off. He may not be used to me talking to you. Probably thought something was wrong.''

Kovu smiled at Rose, bowing his head. ''I will do anything that you ask, to the best of my ability.''

Chaska sighed when Kovu won at this moment. He looked at him for a brief second before nodding to Rose. ''Alright, I shall help elsewhere, where I can. You two have fun.'' He bowed his head, before he backed off.

Stryke shook his head, '' That is terrible...you poor dragons.'' He sighed with a small nod. ''That is over now, I wouldn't dare allow anyone to threaten a dragon in front of me and I know Rose wouldn't even allow a whisper. Thank you Fang, I shall mark up this land!"

Stryke smiled towards Fang as he turned around when he didn't make him feel bad at all. ''I am glad, thank you. To be honest, I had little faith in dragons wanting to be on our side. To not fight and be equal...I have only known of the fighting...do you know what started it...?" He asked, looking at Fang with curiosity. ''One story I heard was that dragons stole our children and killed them for sport...I highly doubt it now, but when Rose was little, I couldn't let her out of my sight. I was afraid of you dragons snatching her!"

Chaska was caught off guard that Rose would want to deal with the farmer. He sighed with a small nod. ''He is a farmer after all, ma'am. I have skills in the blacksmith shop and building.'' He offered. ''I am sorry.''

Chaska smiled towards Rose with another bowed head. ''Of course, I would love to help you. Kovu can scout out the barn and mark it, while we mark a place for the hatchlings?" He offered trying to separate them.

Stryke turned away from Fang only to look about the property one more time. He wished he could enjoy the new home with someone he thought loved him back and their daughter. However, he was worried still over Rose not being married. He knew she had help from the dragons now and himself, but he was still worried. ''She has, as you dragons are rather kind. '' He turned back to Fang, smiling. ''Thank you. All of you dragons have already done so much. Given life to my daughter for her freedom. You don't think she resents me a bit for not completely standing up for her?" He asked quietly.

Chaska (will add in later! Human!) watches Rose and Kovu with some interest. He didn't like that they were drawing closer to each other when they were in different social classes. He prided on keeping people of different 'classes' separate. As in, a farmer shouldn't be able to speak to the new Tribe Leader as if they may be close friends. ''Do you two need any help?" He called to her. ''I wish to offer my services to the new Tribe Leader.'' He bowed his head to Rose as he ran up to them.

Kovu kept his smile, happy that she liked the idea. He though went quiet as Chaska showed up.

Stryke smiled. ''It will be nice to retire here...now do you dragons also have a second in command? Maybe we should to help my daughter. Since he is unmarried, the job can be overwhelming.''

Kovu happily nodded to Rose's idea. ''That is even more perfect!'' His smile faded quickly when he glances back in the direction the people had fled. ''Should we begin putting out guards to watch the village? I am rather afraid someone is going to try to attack a dragon or one of us now.''

Stryke glances at the homes before pointing towards a nice shaded home, that had a large tree in the yard that he enjoyed to see. ''I think we should have our home there. It has a nice shaded area and we can build the other way. It shall be nice.''

Kovu nodded slowly, allowing a smile back after it had disappeared. ''Good.'' He said quietly, before grabbing his gardening tool. ''Let's get to marking! Should we allow the dragons to stay in our homes? I think it would be nice for them and safer. It would allow them to be close to us all the time, instead of them having to sleep in the elements for us.'' He smiled.

Stryke smiled quietly with a little nod. ''Yes, for the both of us!"

Stryke happily made his way on Fang's back, his old age made him creak and ache a little bit. He kept his smile at Fang before looking about with an agreeing nod. ''This new home will not be filled with pain.''

Kona bowed her head with a smile. ''Thank you. I hope that your mother didn't hurt anyone else, but I will help them all personally if that is the case.'' She said quietly before she moved away.

Kovu watched her go before asking abruptly. ''Can she still have a family as a healer?" He asked.

Stryke turned around and smiled towards Fang, he was glad the dragon was keeping him focused. ''You would like to share a home with me? I would love that! You could stay warm all winter with a fireplace and always be out of the snow. I would like that very much! I am sure Rose will get her own home, quite sad to think she is really all grown up now. Let's find a place for our new home! I am going to allow you to have say on where it shall be!"

Kovu agreed eagerly, it gave him more time with Rose. ''Of course! Less to do for the builders!" He smiled.

Kona nodded, though backed up from them. ''I will be looking on the other side of the village while you two can figure out the other. That way we cover more ground and get more done.'' She smiled.

Stryke agreed, he was worrying the dragons were dying out. ''Yeah, Rose is my only surviving child. I cherish her more than the world. Though I shall make the builders aware to make homes bigger for those with mates and...baby dragons. You probably don't call them children either. Anyway, I will make sure you have the best of homes! I would like your home to be near mine, but you don't have to be. You can be near the water if you would like.'' He walked towards his home. ''I may move near the water, this home holds sadness. I am glad I bonded with a dragon, otherwise...I would be rather depressed right now.' He said quietly.

Kovu turned back to Rose with a bright smile at the idea. ''I would love to do that! I saw a few baby dragons coming here! It would be nice to keep them safe and out of trouble! I am sure they don't want to spit fire by accident...or frost.'' He smiled.

Kona looked between the two and smiled softly. ''You should outline it before your father Rose starts building. I keep seeing him gesture to building things.''

Kovu smiled embarrassingly and bowed his head to Rose. ''I shall be always at your call. Now that you are Tribe Leader, you have us at your side still.'' He smiled. ''If you do need any help with anything, or advisory for something involving farming, then you can surely call me to help!" He laughed nervously before backing up and turning towards the direction of his home. ''Oh, if you need any help with the dragons. I would love to help! I saw young dragons running around and like children, they have to be handfuls.'' He smiled.

Stryke was excited to build up the village and change it, to get rid of their old dragon hating ways. ''Do you have any little dragons yourselves? A wife perhaps? Well, you probably call your partners something else.''

Kona sighed with relief as there was nothing to worry about that family anymore. ''Wonderful-.'' Before she was able to speak again Kovu walked up.

Kovu smiled weakly at Rose, he had prepared himself for their friendship to end as soon as she became Tribe Leader. ''Looks like you got what you wished. It was quite fun to help you get the dragons here! I thank you for allowing me to join you and help as I could.''

Stryke happily smiled. ''Will you? I would love to make a comfortable home for you and all the dragons! I am sure the baby dragons would love a comfortable place to sleep as well!''

Kona looked rather frightened and shook her head in disgust. ''Could you imagine marrying him? He is basically the age of your father!'' She looks at Sapphire, ever so happy over the dragon's presence. ''What about Hunter? Do you think he is like his father? We do not need trouble here. Not in this new world.''

Stryke was excited to make the dragons a comfortable home. ''You will all have a comfortable home here!'' He smiled. ''We can get you comfortable beds not made of pure rock. We can get you fish and any meat you wish. Would you sleep in a barn?" He asked. ''Not a small one where we keep you locked up of course.'' He laughed. ''But a comfortable home for you? We could build homes for you dragons.''

Kona sighed with some relief. ''Wonderful!'' She glances at Ratholas who arrived before looking back at Rose. ''That is good. You are now free to make all your decisions!"

Stryke smiled happily. ''Of course! You may live here as long as you wish! What do you dragons eat? What do you dragons like to sleep on! We have to make our guests comfortable!"

Stryke smiled softly at Fang as he agreed. ''She is a wonderful person and I am proud that she is the leader now. I know this is a wonderful thought to have dragons and humans on the same side, but do you plan to stay in the village?" He asked. ''I am sure you used to live in caves...maybe we can get you some type of house!"

Kona frowned a bit with a small nod. ''That is disappointing.'' She then remembered and looked a little frightened. ''Is he gone?" She asked quietly. ''The one that tried to marry you?"

Ratholas landed in the village, glancing around to see all the mingling.

Kona watches Rose before she looks off at Sapphire, still amazed. ''Did Kovu get a bond?" She asked quietly. She was now worried that he ran off after Rose received her bond and he did not.

Ratholas couldn't abandon his group and finally built up the courage to go to the village. He was actually rather scared that Kovu didn't want anything to do with him now.

Stryke shook his head hearing the tragic past. ''My wife hated dragons and didn't believe in bonds. I can easily believe how terrible the world was before. I hope the wars are over...You dragons probably just retaliated after we went after you. I am still sorry and I am sorry for what my wife thinks. I didn't think this day was possible! I hope more bonds are made.'' He glances at the other dragons and people joyfully greeting each other.
