((I heard about your contest. I hope it turns out good for you. I have also not been on PH much I've been spending time on Rprepository.com XD))

Jin took a seat. Sitting sideways to stretch out his legs. It smelled wonderful. Though Melezs food always smelled wonderful. Much better then anything he could come up with. "Thank you very much." He took a spoonful and blew on it to cool it a bit before eating. "If it weren't for you I would probably starve." It was a joke. He had lived this long without starving. "So I was thinking at dawn we should head out. Did you want to prepare some meals for the journey or just go with it?"

((Sorry that I've been MIA. I've been having issues.))

Jin finished in the other after splashing water on his face. He used the small blue towel to dry his face. Was he to much of an eat freak? Stubbing his toe on a pile of books answered that question. He picked up the few books that had fallen and stacked them back up in the haphazard pile they were in before.

He didn't want to go back out and see her just yet. He had a bit of work to do to get the house mobile. Starting by spelling anything loose into place. It was a general spell and didn't take much to do. Once everything in the rooms that he cared about would remain still I'm transport, he went to the kitchen to find Melez there cooking. "It smells good. What is it?"

Jin laughed and set the charm on the table. "Well I guess you could say shrink." He stood and walked over to her petting her head between the horns. "Don't worry about the shades. They can't get in the house." He moved passed her heading for the bathroom to relieve himself before calling out to her. "I'll show you in the morning. What will you make for dinner? It should be good cause we may not get breakfast?"

Jin smiled and looked at her. He pulled the leather cord that tied up his hair and let it fall down around his shoulders. He then ran a hand through it. He messed with the little charm the little wolf making a little tinkling noise as he set it on the table. "My house is mobile. I learned a spell before my mom passed on to shrink it down.

He looked into her eyes and smiled. After a moment he looked at his hands and started to unwrap his wrappings. His wrist healed up nicely now. He folded the bandages up taking them to his kit. "I guess we should get a nap in tomorrow is another day.

Jin smiled and slammed his drink quickly closing his eyes against the burn. He was enjoying hanging out with this half demon half angel. Life hadn't been so interesting since ha had settled down here.
He opened his eyes a large grin on his face as he stood and set his glass down. Bending over he carefully grabbed the couple bags of groceries and started out of the bar. "I'm thinking we can pack up tomorrow? It won't take to long... I have a few more surprises." He sauntered out his back straight a big smile on his face as he thought about what she might say.
It wasn't long before they were back at the house and he had put the groceries away. Sitting on the chair in the kitchen Jin stretched out his long legs and closed his eyes. "You know I don't think anything can stand up to us... we really make a good team."

Jin smiled and gently shook her hand before putting it back on the table. Another puff of dust coming up as the waitress brought more drinks and took the old cups. This time leaning extra close before Jin waived her off and she walked off disappointed.
Now is not the time for frivolity. He looked back to Melez. A slight look of concern coming over him as she looked deep in thought. I hope she is feeling alright. I hope she isn't to worried. "We should finish and get back home. We don't want to be out when the sun goes down."
He pulled out some money from his pocket laying it on the table before grabbing the drink and holding it up. "Here is to a friendship I hope that lasts."

Jin smiled and sat back in his chair satisfied and closed his eyes. "I don't care. I wasn't going to do to much more here anyway. That's it then. We're together for now." Jin smiled staring up at the ceiling. Was I just imagining that or was she just blushing? This girl... He leaned forward and put up his arm to cover his mouth as he coughed. A small cloud of dust coming up and swirling around before settling back on the table and floor.
"Besides I like being risky. Keeps life entertaining." Jin smiled before reaching across the table his arm making an angle his hand held out to her. "We will stay together until at least ADAM is dealt with. Deal?" He smiled no hint of apprehension in his features. He was ready to lay down his future for this girl. He wasn't a hundred percent sure why but like he said.... Life was going to get interesting.

Jin Sat up and clasped his hands in front of himself like Melez had done. Looking down at the long and slender fingers criss crossed broken by the signet ring on his pinky, and the white bandages. Then he closed his eyes as the female who he'd ordered from set the drinks on the table before sauntering off. Over exaggerating her walk to no avail.
"ADAM doesn't bother me. Its you. I've grown fond of you over the past week and I would hate myself if I let you get hurt." He shook his head carefully taking the drink and taking a sip before sighing. "Plus I know tricks to help you out. Though we probably should move out of town. It would be to hard to pull that plan off a second time. It almost didn't work at all." He sighed again before downing his drink. "What do you think of sticking together a while longer." With that he opened his eyes to look at her once again.

Jin smiled and waived over one of the waitresses. Sitting up slightly he told them what they would have and watched her go before looking back to Melez. "All the drinks are cold." He said playfully before leaning back in his seat. "Anyway. We should talk about what we're going to do now. I'm sure your shoulder is mostly healed." He stared up at the ceiling absently rubbing the spot on his stomach.
He let his smile fade and started to look a bit more serious. "I know they aren't going to give up so easily and now that we beat that group from before.." He paused and.moved his green eyes down to Melezs amber ones. "Will you be leaving?"

Jin walked in and was promptly punched in the gut. He took a step back to regain his balance looking down at the human who had done it. Jin reached for the guy and tossed him out the door onto his behind. Leaving the man stunned he straightened his shirt before walking towards the table in the corner.
He leaned back in his rickety old chair and rubbed the sore spot on his stomach waiting for Melez to join him. "People. So rude sometimes." He closed his eyes. "As for whiskey... it's all pretty much the same. A good burn and just a little sweet."

Jin smiled putting an arm around her shoulders pulling her towards the bar they had met at. "We beat off bad guys today. I think we deserve a little bit of celebration." The sun still hung high in the air. Demons and humans milled about oblivious to the two of them.
The packed earth if the road was nearly smooth from use. Though rocks littered the ground kicked up by an unsuspecting person or cart. The bar in the bright light of day looked even more dingy and broken.
Jin looked down at Melez putting his free arm up to point to the bar. "Unless you don't feel like it. I know it's kinda run down but you can't beat the whiskey. The drinks are always the coldest in town too." He winked playfully before looking up and watching a pair of succubus demons disappearing into the dark confines of the bar.

Jin looked over to Melez and shook his head. "No I don't need you to heal me." Jin put his arms up and folded them behind his head. He seemed relaxed and if you didn't know better he would seem just like a human.
If it weren't for his angelic like blond hair and stunningly gorgeous emerald eyes.(hah) He yawned slightly. He stopped at a small store and bought the food for dinner and a basket to put it all in. "Maybe we should get some drinks while we're out?"

Jin nodded and waived to the waitress before standing up. He took one last drink from his cup before pushing his chair back in and heading for the door. Holding it open he watched Melez for a moment before leading them into the shopping district. "Alright that sounds like a plan. I'll buy what we need." Jin smiled tucking his handkerchief back in his pocket before stacking all the plates as the waitress cane back over and took them. "If you're making steak you must have potatoes. I make pretty good chive and onion potatoes." Jin leaned back in his seat sipping the rest of his coffee before looking at the ceiling. "We shouldn't stay out to long. Those shadows are still around though."

Jin ate quietly and quite methodically. Switching between eggs and hash browns, then a drink, then after finishing going for the pancakes. "You can't get food like this just anywhere." After sitting in comfortable silence for a bit as they finished the food. "Did we need to do anything else while we are out?" Jin reached into his pocket pulling out a small rag and wiping his face before raising both his eyebrows.
Jin looked down before setting the ragged handkerchief down. He reached up and scratched his chin furrowing his brow as he felt the soft, just starting, stubble. "Hmph."

"The coffee is always great. The sweet tea too. Though that's like seriously sweet." Jin chuckled messing with the bowl of creamers. The sound of sizzling food could be heard throughout the cafe just making the wait better as the smells filled the space. After a little while the waitress returned with the food.
"Alright hun I got scrambled and hash." She set down the plate in front of Melez followed by a mug and a coffee pot. Then she set down two plates in front of Jin. On one was a good sized portion of hash browns and three cooked eggs and on the second was a small pile of flap jacks drizzled in syrup and whip cream with a few strawberries. Jin grabbed the woman's hand kissing the back of it. "You are a saint." Jin winked playfully as the woman giggled and left before starting in on the hash browns. "Hope you like it Melez."

The woman nodded scribbling on the paper. "Did you want anything to drink? We've got juice, coffee, or...other? Depending on your taste. The drinks are on the back of the page."
Jin shook his head. "You know I want coffee so might just bring over two cups and we will see what she wants in a bit." The woman nodded walking away pulling off the paper and hanging it so the cook could see it. Jin looked at Melez his signature smile still on his face. "They have the best hash browns I have ever had. Hope you enjoy it."

Jin nodded as they made it to Morningside and held the door open for her. There was soft m
usic playing on a beat up old record player. There were a few couples eating at mismatched tables. The lighting was bright and just made you want to smile. "Yeah I'll change them. I'll also teach you some things about ADAM that can help you out."
A older looking lady came over and brought them to one of the tables winking at Jin as she set down menus. "What can I get ya sugar?" Her voice was definitely southern and kind. Jin just smiled handing back the menu.
"Usual for me." He said as the woman looked towards Melez.
"Just call me over when you're ready dear."

	"Morningside?" Jin had been down this road so many times he knew where she was talking about. It was a lovely little place. The people were nice and the prices weren't to expensive.
