Cath was quiet. After seeing that Kendo and Theo were both alright, she had given them their space. She slowly made her way back to the vending machine she had seen on the way in. A dollar bill got her a water bottle. She said down on a bench, and uncapped it with shaking fingers. Reaching into her laptop bag, she pulled out a bottle of pills.

Opening the bottle, she shook two pills onto her palm, and swallowed them, washing them down with water. She sighed. Kendo and Theo we're going to be alright, and now they both knew of each other's love. They had hope, they had a future.

Cath had such a headache, but that's what happened when she was late with the stupid things. She winced at the pain. Gathering up her things, she stood, and finished the rest of the water. Right, next order of business.

Cath made her way to the services desk. "Hello, I'd like to talk to someone about the treatment of Kendo Sato, an emergency room patient."

The Elfen girl smiled at her. "One minute... yep, what can I do for you?"

"I know he isn't discharged yet, but I would like to discuss payment."

"Of course! I can show you the preliminary bill here. Eventually we will need a mailing address to send the final bill to-"

"Thank you," she cut in. Cath glanced at the monitor briefly. She could cover that. "Can I just give you an address for him now?"

The Elfen girl nodded, and Cath slowly read off her address. After thanking her again, Cath made her way back to the hospital room. Her stockings were completely worn through; she was walking barefoot through the hospital.
It was never meant to be.

"...true." While he usually liked the arrogant smile, he wanted to wipe it off his face. Maybe do something unexpected. But he could never do that, cuz, y'know, he's a bottom. He would probably die if he did. So he just continued to blush more.

It was at that moment that Cath knocked, and came back into the room. Raising her eyebrows at the scene in front of her, she smiled and sat down on a hard, plastic, hospital chair.

"Hey. How are you doing?"

She looked at him, and for a long moment, Cath didn't speak. The world could be an unfriendly place. She nodded, a quick dip of her head.
