As the hand was invisible, takumi did not see it, instead choosing to run forwards and scout ahead. N however, was far more attentive, seeing apples arms get squished to their sides suddenly. “Apple? Whats wrong?’

"Who the-!" Another invisible hand covered his mouth. he glared angrily into nowhere as a voice spoke: "Care to tell me what you're doing here?" In front of Takumi, a wall of light erupted and blocked their way. It started moving towards them, slowly pushing them back.

Takumi sighed, raising their hands and backing up. “Look, we don’t want any trouble. I’m knife master of the 52nd hero division, we’re here to check on something, but we got distracted while trying to find where we were supposed to meet someone, i saw someone suspicious slipping into the basement.” This lie was told so smoothly, nobody could possibly tell it was a lie unless they were a mind reader, or if they were there the entire time.

Apple rolled his eyes and grumbled something along the lines of 'yeah that was me' and 'hot sauce'. "What are you really here for? Are you here to kidnap more heroes?! Should I sound the alarm." The hand hovered over the security switch.

Takumi snorted. “I have my ID with me, i can confirm i’m a hero. And since there are the three of us against you, we could turn against you by synchronising our stories. Who are they gonna believe? Four heroes or a small fry like you? So it would be more beneficial for you to release us and let us tell our story.”

While Takumi did that, the hero dropped N and grabbed Apple again, shooting Killer Killer with an unharmful blast of plasma to the chest. "Hopefully I've got the right hostage this time." They pulled out a flashlight and turned it on. The beam of light turned into a harsh blade of plasma as the hero pressed it against Apple's neck. He sighed. "Wow. I didn't wake up for this." "Shush."

"You know what, stop! Let him go and in return you can get me. I'm literally twice as weak as those guys and a plus is that I can survive without those chicken heads. Just take me and capture me, it's not that hard. Just let the guy go and exchange him for me." Sobble almost cried but he knew that this sacrifice was needed.
