"I swear" Roleplay Promise
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → "I swear" Roleplay PromiseBack at the library, Greg noticed that the lights went out, "That's strange, the lights went out, maybe it was short-circuited I wonder what's going on?", Greg asked himself. Then Greg heard the noises and it was the voice of the three patrons who are staying at the House of Promises, then he heard a familiar voice, "Who did this?", Greg left the library to hear the commotion going on, he grabbed his notebook and his pamphlets from different colleges and universities, departed the library and soon headed to the room next door known as Storage room, "Maybe, I can find something that will make things brighter hopefully that will work".
"Okay," she said to everyone. "Let's... try and find the fusebox. Anyone by the door?"
Meanwhile, Greg was about to open the door but soon he sees Kaydi coming from the storage room, Greg scurried inside to the storage room and closed the door, "Okay, now to find the lantern, hopefully it will be perfect and the patrons in the House of Promise will be relaxed and calm", Greg said. So Greg begun his search for the lantern, as he begun his search he sees a notepad that was completely blank and said, "Just what I needed", so Greg grabbed the notepad and continued his search for the lantern.
"I-I don't know!" An androgynous voice was sounding panicked. "I think- I'm in- the middle of the- ow!" A thumping sound, as if two people had collided, and then a clattering. "Crap!" A bam as if a large weight had dropped. Another faint scratching sound, and then silence. "Uh- nothing! W-What should we do?" They unzipped something.
"Uh- maybe wait for the power to come back on?" A deeper voice asked. "Could be an outage, y'know. We might just need to wait." Majoree imagined the person's face in the dark. Was it that weird boy who'd been looking at everyone? She realized he was speaking again. "And maybe," he added, "The rest of the place isn't the same."
Majoree frowned at that. What was he implying? "What do you mean? That it's just this room? Wouldn't an outage be city wide?"
There was a long pause. "Unless somebody cut off the power to this building specifically," the second voice mentioned. "That would be possible... and maybe even likely if there's something darker going on about this whole situation... do we not have promises to keep? Perhaps the voice is determined to make sure we keep them... even at 'darker' costs." They gave a chuckle.
Majoree didn't find it amusing. "This is serious!" she snapped. She sighed, collecting herself. "Okay, okay. Once again-" a note of sarcasm- "anybody happen to be by the f-" she gripped the hem of her skirt and relaxed her shoulders. "Whatever. It's fine. Just... ignore me, then." Her tone was bitter. "Means nothing."
"I'll try and feel my way through," the deeper voice offered. "Light or dark, it's the same to me."
The girl hid a grumble. "Sure, sure, whatever. Go do that."
"Everyone okay with that?" he asked.
Inside the storage room, Greg continued to find the lantern but all he found was the notepad, then he sees something bright, an elegant box with a cyan hue, "I have no idea what that thing is, it looks so amazing and awesome, though I'm unsure what is inside that box", Greg pondered and grabbed the elegant box with a cyan hue and resumed his search for the lantern.
"You didn't." Majoree's head snapped up and glared in the general direction of the voice. The person squeaked and ducked their head, fiddling with their backpack.
"Whatever. Let's... regroup and try and find stuff, or whatever..."
The person with the brown hair stood up in the center of the room and glanced about themself, looking a bit confused.
Back downstairs, Greg was surprised by Mouse's attitude, "Maybe, I should focus more on my life and personally I should continue if I should go to the college or the university to begin the studies, also I should ponder if I can do a reduce courseload or full courses", Greg said as he continues to think.
"Yes! Share!" The person was on their feet in a second. They rushed across the room and took Greg's hands. "Please!" they begged, then blushed a bit and pulled their hands back.
Kaydi entered the bedroom and she sees a bed, soon she grabbed the pajamas and got changed. After putting on the pajamas, Kaydi wondered if the argument was finished, but then she heard, "Yes! Share!", Kaydi was surprised and soon she rushed downstairs to see what was going on.
The person with the brown hair gave a weird giggle under their breath and Majoree shot them an irritated look to which they returned with a smile. "Introductions?" they suggested. "That's camp, right? And maybe we could share our promises too..." They smiled a little larger.
"No," Majoree said shortly. "Come on," she told Greg. "We can go upstairs and find rooms. We all need to find a place to stay for the night and set up some sort of room order."
Kaydi raced back upstairs to her room, and soon breathed a sigh of relief that the situation was resolved, "Somehow, I might be imagining things right now", Kaydi thought. Soon Kaydi walked back to her room, lied down in bed and began to think about her future if she should be a sports reporter or a radio dj
At the bedroom, Kaydi didn't fall asleep yet stood and she heard some mumbling outside, she got up and saw Mouse and the boy with the notepad in his hand, Kaydi recognized the boy but didn't notice it the first time around, "I wonder what those two are doing here, maybe I should help them if possible", Kaydi opened the door and said, "Hi, I may have found the bedroom that you two are looking, are you waiting for anyone else?", Kaydi asked.
Evan had woken up in the room. He had forgotten about his job, so he got up and exited the room. On the door he had walked out of, it had read "Evan" in fancy text with a purple coloring, and the words "NEED" under it. He had walked to the light source at the end of the hall, and finding people. He stared. "I was asleep for that long?" He mumbled.
