Refusing to answer that simple question kinda comes off passive aggressive when people only want to know for sure if there would be any payoff for hunting all the eggs. Withholding that information is just going to lead to people being disappointed, upset, or angry if they spend a lot of time finding that 20th egg with the hope they'll be rewarded for it, only to be given just a normal event on the 5th.

This is not a good look, Riako.


I completely agree here. Especially since there always was a reward the past years (as far as i remember) for collecting all Eggs. People just want to make sure, don't see why there is a problem not answering this.

There will be a special reward for collecting 20 eggs, yes; but it's not clear yet whether this will be a shiny version of our Event Pokémon or something else. We're still working on that and I don't know yet if the alternative idea will be possible. Hence why I didn't make any promises yet. (I'll put "special prize" on the Easter event page for now, to clear up the confusion. Sorry about that)
Personally I don't want to make the prize a shiny, because frankly, the event has become way too easy over the past few years (last year, over 500 users collected all eggs. 1/3 of all Easter Ducklett are shiny) and thus the shiny versions of the event becomes almost worthless. To me, it doesn't feel right to give out a shiny (Event!) Pokémon for something that almost everyone is able to achieve easily (some users report finishing the event in 30 minutes or less). So we're working on an alternative reward which is still more special than the Event Pokémon but not shiny-special. 🙂

Just a question, does the Wiki count as a location? It just seems that it would. Or would this count as a spoiler?

Just figured it might be useful here: Eggs cannot appear on the HeroChat page, it no longer exists and doesn't have any code, which is why it shows up as a blank page (unless Riako fixes it by the time you read this).

Well, I think so many users DID find all eggs over the last years BECAUSE the reward was a shiny version of it. Everyone wanted it and grinded hard xD
If there isn't a shiny one in future I personally won't participate in it again, because I did it for the shiny ^^'

I have 18 out of 20 eggs, I just can't seem to find the last two.
Please help me get to 250,000 pokedollars for the legendary chip upgrade for the egg radar and interact with my Pokemon.

@Akemie - With all the site maps flying around it's also become a whole lot easier to find all 20 Easter Eggs, which is the problem.

Of course, people try hard if there's a big reward and if they manage to find them all, more power to them. However, for the difficulty the Easter Egg Hunt should have, disproportianatly many users find them all.

What if instead of a guaranteed shiny, finding all eggs will result in a boosted shiny chance, not too low to make the effort worthless, but also not too high to make the new shiny event too common?

Question! Is it possible to not find certain eggs if we have not unlocked the area due to low level or because we have not bought the item? Like I am a new player and have not unlocked a few places... Is it possible for the eggs to be there even for me? If so, then how am I supposed to get all eggs?
