Navy blue, huh? Maybe that could work but they didn't have any
pretty eyes that they could use as. Oh well with this mission maybe
they could find someone stronger than them with the deepest blues
that spoke of untold dangers lurking under the sea. That would be a
two in one task and they'd save so much time. Hyped up and raring
to go, Noel bounced up and down excitedly rooting around in their
bag again to make sure that they had everything that they would
need for a hunt.
Demi trudged down the school hallway towards the Teams classroom.
She mindlessly scrolled through social media posts on her phone,
while dragging her suitcase behind her with the other. Suddenly, a
notification popped up on the screen, letting the teen know her
phone was on the verge of dying. Unfazed, Demi sent a small jolt of
electricity from her hand to the device, bumping its battery power
from 10% to 50%. Demi then simply continued scrolling through it,
seemingly ignoring the other students who walked past.
"You are to kill a sidekick. Any will do. But it must be the
sidekick of a hero." He explained.
-------
Crash Master darted past Demi muttering about being late to teams
and lectures from his partner. If he were late to anything else it
would be fine but Mind Shatter was quite serious about being on
time.
Chimichi waited by the door for Noel. He spots them and opens the
door as they walk out. "So," he says."What do you wanna do to
start?" He pulls out another apple and takes a bite.
Feeling something bolt past her, Demi's eyes finally left her
phone. She looked up just in time to see a man hastily running
through the hallway. 'Must be one of the teachers', she thought.
'But wait, if he was so panicked about being late to class,
then...'Demi's eyes darted to the time on her phone, only to widen
in panick. Stuffing the device in her pocket, she broke out into a
run towards the classroom. There was absolutely no way she was
going to be late on the first day!
"Lucky for us, I follow some of the biggest superhero fan blogs
online so I have a pretty big list of sidekicks!" They cheered,
stepping through the door. Showing their phone to Chimichi, they
had one of the bigger fan blogs pulled up with a whole subsection
on sidekicks. "Take your pick, there's a whole lot of them!"
A room with a sign hanging above it saying "Teams" came into Demi's
view, and she skidded to a halt. She took a moment to catch her
breath, then headed through the door. Immediately, she took notice
that there were two people already inside the classroom. Grimacing,
she quietly slipped towards the back, taking a seat at one of the
desks.
"I'm alright," he pushes their hand away. "I prefer to work alone.
Or with you. You know that." He finishes his apple, taking the
seeds and tucking them into his pocket, throwing away the core.
"What about you? I'm sure you could get any number of sidekicks
with that pretty... I mean, sinister face of yours."
Barking out a laugh, Noel pocketed the phone as they walked.
"Careful there, it's best not to get too attached." They warned.
"We're not exactly good even to our own kind. I might just end up
using you for my own nefarious means." The advice was a good one, a
lesson that Noel had to learn time and time again the hard way.
"Anyways I do have someone in mind. No one would miss that sidekick
anyways. He's a player and only in it for the fame. If it's fame he
wants then wouldn't it be nice to put his death on the front
headlines." If Chimichi looked, Noel had been slowly shapeshifting
as they were talking. For one, their shoulders had slimmed down as
well as their waist, thighs filling out. Where once their chest had
been flat and nonexistent it was now rounder, their body taking on
a more traditionally feminine form.
Chimichi keeps looking forward as they walk. "You dont need to
change how you look Noel." He stops and smirks at her. "Unless of
course, you're trying to look good for your new sidekick. In which
case, remember, if he hurts you, I'll kill him. Probably
literally."
For a moment they looked surprised, freezing for a moment before it
melted into a soft kind of smile. "Oh you're cute." They shook
their head letting the illusion of makeup spread across their face,
supple lips painted pink and contour highlighting optimal spaces
for a perfect heart-shaped face and innocent doe eyes, keeping the
icy blue colour. "I don't need protecting but I appreciate the
sentiment. The site and other fans said that the sidekick likes
girls with big thighs and slim waists, blonde hair, kissable lips
and-" here they crudely drew out two large semicircles before their
chest, nose scrunching up in disgust, "you know the usual. What
does he want a barbie doll?" They complained lightly, concentrating
for a moment before shaking their head letting the transformation
blend in seemlessly as if it was natural to simply change ones
appearance on a dime. Normally black dreads fanned out into
Hollywood-style blonde locks, dark skin lightening until Noel
looked like a model who had just stepped off the runway. Checking
their reflection in the reflection of their phone, they fiddled
with their hair to make sure it looked nice enough before deeming
it good enough. They were lucky that the school-girl skirt and
stockings accentuated the thighs, sure to draw their target's
attention. Their translucent top wasn't the best for this kind of
mission but they supposed that the see through material showed more
than enough skin and looked flimsy enough, the light material of
their crop top tantalizing enough that they were satisfied that
they could successfully become a honeypot to ensnare their
unsuspecting victim.
Lucian ran a hand through his hair with a small frown. Transferring
out of this class was certainly the last thing he wanted. He shook
his head, mumbling a small, "No. No it's fine. Sorry." While he
certainly wasn't one for first impressions, this wasn't exactly
what he had in mind for his first day.
"Careful not to get too attatched," he jokes, playfully punching
her in the arm. He looks at the sky as he walks. For students at a
school for villains, their life was pretty good. Aside from the
constant nagging of their Homeroom teacher and the constant mishaps
of the mad scientists, it all seemed a little too perfect.
Suddenly, Chimichis foot catches on a root and he falls face first
into the ground.
Although they didn't stumble or fall when Chimichi punched their
arm, they did turn around to chase him for a moment, yelling about
how the other was way too young to be lecturing them about getting
attached, respect your elders damn it! Once they had settled into
an easier and more relaxed pace, Noel fiddled with their outfit a
little more but their attention was ripped back to their companion
when Chimichi tripped over a root. Crouching down beside his fallen
body, they gently poked their shoulder. "Hey, you dead?" They
teased lightly, an unapologetic snort left unhidden at how a simple
root had bested a potential Dark Lord
Chimichi flips over and reaches out his hand. "Care to help me up?"
he asks. As she reached for his hand, he pulls her down with him so
she comes tumbling to the floor. He laughs."Shoulda kept your guard
up!" He brushes himself off and takes off.
"I was nice to you one time and this is what I get?!" They
screeched, quickly scrambling up to chase after Chimichi. While
they were able to catch up and keep the crackling boy in his
sights, their footwear, unfortunately, wasn't ideal for chase
scenes, the loose nature of their flats slowing them down so they
couldn't actually catch up to Chimichi. At least sound travelled
faster and they were certain that Chimichi had heard them curse him
out
