One solution did come to mind but that would be way too
embarrassing to ask, the mild-mannered angel easily flustered by
the mere thought of requesting such a bold idea. But perhaps
spending time with Hawks was making him a bit more reckless and
bold as he shyly bit his lip. "Maybe... you could just stay with
me?" He suggested, averting his eyes.
"e-eh?? Don't you think you're being a bit too hasty in all this?"
He squeaked out, noticing how the other's tag wagged happily. How
cute, he was just like a puppy then.
"Even if I give you a mountain of paperwork?" He decided to tease,
feeling a fuzzy kind of warmth spread through his chest. It was...
nice to know that someone enjoyed his company
"There's a bathroom two doors down to the left." He nodded, taking
a glance at the uniform as well. He didn't think that it was all
that boring but that was his own opinion. For a moment he wondered
if the other had any clothes to actually change into before
supposing that he could just conjure up some new clothes with his
magic or something.
He went into the bathroom, and came out a few minutes later,
stretching slowly “much better” he ssid, smiling. He wore a black
shirt with rainbow sleeves, and normal black pants, along with
silver eye shadow and black eyeliner, and black lipstick “ah, how
fun” he said, sitting down “now I feel much better” he said,
flapping his now very shiny wings due to washing and preening them
Raphael could count on one hand the number of times he had been
struck speechless and this would be added to that list. On anyone
else, he would assume that the rainbow sleeves were ostentatious
and overbearing but paired with the other's glimmering and freshly
preened wings, it only blended in seamlessly with the outfit. If
anything he could only being extremely "beautiful..." Quickly
realizing that he had spoken that out loud, he quickly clamped his
hands over his mouth and looked away embaressed
Rolling his eyes fondly, Raphael got up from his seat. "If you
really want a mountain, wait here for a moment." He instructed,
walking out of his office. A minute, then two passed, the clock
ticking for a grand total of 10 minutes before the angel returned,
arms laden with a stack of paperwork, similar in height to the pile
that Hawk had knocked over when they had first met. "Forms of each
angel convinced by Elegance. Care to look over what we can use to
help free them?"
He swept each paper off with a wing, his eyes moving at light speed
as he read over every single form “well, I know we can help all of
them by not releasing them. We can’t save the ones who have been
wrongfully accused and put in jail, but we can save the ones who
aren’t in jail yet.” He said, holding a wing out to tap his
shoulder
His wings visibly drooped as the gnawing feeling of despair grew
ever stronger. "Is there really nothing we can do for them? He
asked voice pitched into a hoarse whisper. "There has to be
something, right?"
“Unless we figure out a way too kill elegance, no” he said, curling
his tail around his arm to pull him closer “He’s going to execute
the,l then say they starved to death. I know his plan”
He let himself press against Hawk, lip trembling as he took a look
at the list. While he didn't cry, his sorrow was still palpable
before he pulled himself together into a more composed visage.
"Then how do we kill Elegance?" He finally asked, blinking away the
unshed tears. "If we can get rid of the root cause, then we can
prevent anyone else from being falsely convicted."
“His only weakness is hellfire, like most demons. But only demons
can create hellfire. And he can bloodbend. So no ones ever laid a
hit on him” he said, beating his wings with a loud ruffle “which is
why I have to stay by your side. Once he sees me, he’ll find out
who I like most, then he’ll rip them apart from the inside” he said
“So I have to be near you at all times, or youre going to end up a
bloody mess”
Nodding a bit reluctantly, Raphael let out a wry chuckle. "I
suppose feeding him Figgy Pudding with Hell Fire on it wouldn't
work, huh." He tired, throwing out the first food he knew that was
served set aflame
"I can probably make that so how do you feel about me gifting
Chocolate Flambe out to the spy hunters?" He mused out loud,
leaning into the brief contact unconsciously. His own wings reached
out to brush against Hawk's back.
