Kieran's ears twitched in alarm as he heard an unearthly hiss not
to near from where he was lying... Going to see what it was, he
bounded up, darting right inbetween melody and darreon. He begun
hopping from roof to roof, like a frog on lilypads, until he landed
on the top of a house right next to where all the commotion was
happening. His eyes widened at the sight of the giant serpent.
This is NOT good... he thought as he watched. Who would be
daring enough to even begin to attack it?
He slammed his head into the wall, but it only resulted in pain “I
hate you” he growled, slithering around the house, exhaling onto
the windows, as he flared his side fangs “out!” He roared, spraying
the corrosive venom. It landed on the rain gutter, and melted
quickly
"No, unfortunately." Winnie said, then shrieked as the snake hit
the window. She grabbed Charlie by the shoulders, getting her to
her feet.
"LOOK." she yelled at the creature. "I-I think its obvious w-we're
not leaving the house. Do you really w-wanna be stuck h-here all
day, trying to coerce us out?" She mustered up the bravest face she
could. "C-cause if you're willing to go through all this trouble,
y-you m-must be pretty h-hungry, huh?"
As much as Kieran wanted to make a break for it as fast as he
could, his morals got the better of him. Noticing an open window of
the house that the big ol' snake might notice soon, he made a
flying leap through it, closing the window as soon as he was in the
house. Shoot. The adrenaline had made him not think this through as
much as he normally did. He darted into a corner of the cozy little
house, at least relieved that the serpent couldn't attack through
the window.
“I’m not hungry, I’m here to finish of your whatever this is” he
growled, his one eye focusing on Charlie “I need to finish the
murder that I meant to finish years ago”
He opened his side fangs, and plunged one into the window. The
glass splintered but the fang was so large it wasn’t very sharp.
The window was still there, as he started to shove it more
Winnie jumped back as a blurry shape suddenly flew through the open
window, shutting it in the process.
"Uh, Charlie?" She pointed at the corner it had retreated in.
"There's...something else here." As soon as she said that, she
heard the sound of the window glass being scraped. Her eyes widened
in fear.
Kieran let out a sigh of relief - or the closest sound a raccoon
dog could make to a regular sounding sigh. It was a good idea to
close the window after all. Not wanting to make things awkward,
even in the middle of something like this, he his from the two
humans in the house, keeping in the corner. It would distract them
less from what was important, anyway.
Melody smiled. "That's a cool name! So, if you're not a person,
then I guess I know the name of the Daemon I'm chatting with! By
the way, you're really good with that guitar. I've always wanted to
learn, but we never stayed in one place long enough for me to learn
from a teacher." There was also the fact that her parents ignored
her requests to learn, but that wasn't important.
Kieran stayed glued to the corner. It would be a cozy resting place
as a raccoon dog, but now wasn't the time to think about it. He
didn't think there would be anything he could do to help but stay
away from whatever was going on.
Darreon let out a grumble, then blinked slowly. He stumbled
slightly, then mumbled, "I'll teach you some other time." Leaping
back to the roof, he grabbed his guitar and leapt again, landing a
fair distance away. There, he collapsed with his guitar next to
him, going completely dormant. His scales shimmered, and the daemon
became nearly invisible at first glance.
Winnie saw something moving a little bit from out of the corner of
her eye. Said corner was pretty far away from the window, so
maybe....? The brunette decided she would take her chances. She
grabbed Charlie's hand and bolted for the corner. It was there she
saw a little dog, or was it a raccoon? Either way, she huddled down
next to it, and pulled Charlie down with her.
