He places a claw on the cut, and slowly moved the not sharp side of
his talon across it “yeah that’s pretty bad. Stalken can probably
make you medicine with his plant stuff”
This sort of fighting and talking is exactly why Kieran chose to
hide his raccoon dog ears. He sighed, and finished his apple while
strutting home, where he promptly transformed into his raccoon dog
form to relax
Melody lifted a finger to say something, but decided against it.
There would be other chances, and it wasn't like this was permanet.
Eventually her dad would announce he was losing his creativty, and
they'd be in another new town. Melody just wished she could get
used to it like her brother. Hadrian always seemed unfazed by it
all. Lucky him.
Kieran wandered into the woods. Everything looked so much bigger
when he was a one foot tall canine, and it seemed almost as if he
was in an ethereal city. He could hear the rustling of rodents
going about their days, and in the distance, a faint rush of water.
Stopping to munch on some berries, he observed Princeton from the
bushes.
Melody decided to head back home. The workers had been swift, and
just about everything was there, well, in boxes, but there. She
climbed the stairs and found a room marked, "Melody." She entered
it and flopped onto the mattress, looking around her at the few
boxes. She was supposed to start school tomorrow, maybe that would
be better."
Winnie's eyebrow raised. She shook her head, pushing the money
away.
"Oh please, that's not neccesary. Just come over to my house for
some snacks." Her small smile returned. "My dad always cooks way
too much food, so we've got plenty of leftovers."
