A few minutes ago i was sorting pokemon in my storage boxes, i had released all my drifblims (except for 1). then i moved a whismur to another box, it moved but it came back to the box.....along w/ the drifblims i had released this kept on happening and i thought that this could be a bug, now how should i make space for my next hunt?

This is beacuse your those pokemons are currently 'Busy'.
A Busy pokemon cant be released.
You can read more about busy pokemons from here

The pokemon could be on any auction, trade, rumble, wonder trade, battle team, etc... Remove it from from there and you can release it.

And for that Whismur, either box could have got full, try checking... :)

makes sense for drifloon, but whismur is too stubborn, she doesn't want to move into a box w/ a free spacce
