Meitso was distracted by Floyd’s remark, leading her to be right up
on him with the blade nearly touching his eye. She never saw a
human this psychotic... She wasn’t even this bad when she was
alive... This could be fun. “Awww why aren’t you including
yourself? Don’t you want to be squeezed to death too?” She said
with a maniacal smile. Oh man... now that the games have started
she could finally kill someone!
Ryssu noticed the gaze, but simply left the room. "Good luck,
fellas!" She called back sweetly. She then walked out, unphased by
the glow that streaked across the room. Escape room, yeah? Time for
some b**ches to die... she was simply looking to find a murder
weapon first. Before someone found her, spirit or human.
"Hey!! Get away from him! Didn't you have a deal for us?!?" She
shouted before the ghost could potentially hurt him. After she said
that she realised that she raised her voice on not just an ordinary
ghost, but an armed one as well.
Tazuli mostly ignored everyone for now, survival game huh? Can’t
trust anyone in that case but first she needs to find something to
defend herself whenever she sees a spirit or even another human
“well good luck everyone and don’t die this early” she simply said
before walking out of the room
Blinking slowly as he regarded Meisto, he grabbed the knife and
pressed it against his neck instead, feeling the blade dig past his
gloves and into his ski. "Try me." He replied, voice steady as he
stared the ghost in the eyes. He was admittedly quite impressed
that Laura had raised her voice at something for once but he
focused on the ghost before him. "If you want to kill, you must be
prepared to die yourself. Isn't that common sense?" He grinned,
barring his teeth in a feral smile
She slowly turned her head to face Laura, the knife was still right
at his eye. “Yes... yes I did...” she muttered, the crazy and
psychotic gleam in her eye didn’t make it any better. Floyd had
caught her attention once again, so she turned her head back to
look in his eyes instead of where the knife was. “Oh I will, and
I’ll succeed. But I don’t want to give you what you want... I’ll
make your insanity overwhelm you, trapping you in a hell you can’t
escape from. Death won’t even be able to save you...” she chuckled
and backed away from him and slowly placed the knife in her pocket.
“But the killing game has begun... Why can’t I have a little bit of
fun?” She lightly laughed, grabbing Laura’s chin and getting in her
face. “Remember this... Don’t get in my way, or in any other
spirit’s way... got that?”
He sighed at the chaos Meitso was trying to creat before walking
back to his office. This was going to be another boring run... He
could already tell...
Laura just growled as she looked at the ghost right in its eyes.
That was completely out of character for her but some sort of
emotion overwhelmed her, there have been very few cases where she
has been that courageous and brave. She just couldn't allow Floyd to
get hurt, not right at the start. If anything he deserved to be free
more than anyone. "Leave 'im alone!"
"There is nothing you can do to make hell worse than it already
is." Floyd laughed, rubbing the palm of his hand. Meisto interested
him actually, a sense of intrigue rising in him about the
mysteriously chaotic ghost. "Come on, lets go." He finally growled
when the staring contest between them didn't seem like it would
stop anytime soon. Yanking Laura from Meisto's grip, Floyd stomped
away, footsteps echoing loudly around the haunted hotel
“Yeah... yeah I know...” she said sadly to herself as she watched
them walk away. She knew she couldn’t do that with someone like
Floyd... From the very moment she saw him she knew that they were
similar, which she wished wasn’t the case... She simply disappeared
without saying a word and ended up in one of the hidden rooms
inside the hotel. Well wasn’t that nice... She had finally
cracked...
Laura shook her head and got up,as she tumbled and fell from her
the chair she was sitting on. She gasped and started panting after
coming to her senses and realising what had happen. Asking no
questions, and saying nothing, she followed Floyd. The only two rooms
she knew was the bathroom and what would seem like the main dinning
room and whatnot. She kept her eyes on the ghost as they walked
away from it. She wouldn't like to get sneaked up on and possibly
followed but the ghost just vanished.
So, far, Ryssu had been lucky. With the ghosts, I mean, not so much
her murder weapon. She was aware of the others by hearing the
obnoxious stomps all around the hotel, and guessed who it was
immediately. She scoffed. He would die quickly too, with that
noise.
Miko, on the other hand, was sickened by the idea of killing
someone, and just vowed to stay safe by herself. She didn't wanna
die. She tried to assure herself that the courage would come to her
if someone tried...but she'd be glad if everyone just...stayed away
from her from now on...
Finding a random room that seemed safe enough, Floyd kicked open
the door and checked for any ghosts. When he couldn't see any he
marched in and locked the door behind Laura. "There. No person can
get us now. All we have to look out for are those stupid annoying
ghosts." He growled, kicking a chair in anger.
“Meitso, don’t you think this is taking it a bit too far? In the
end it will always be the same. A person winning but forever
traumatized, isn’t that too much? I don’t get how you guys derive
pleasure from this.” Amelia said, shaking her head. Casting a
glance at the humans nearby.
She looked up with a gentle and sad smile. She didn’t give a
response though, but it looked like she was about to. “Amelia...
Why did you accept being trapped here? A slave to that tyrant?” She
asked as her head turned to face the floor again. “I wish I
could’ve just accepted it...” she added, but barely loud enough for
her to hear
Turata was hiding behind a couch the entire time, terrified of what
could happen to him. He was somehow trapped here but not
acknowledged... Did anyone even know he was here? Well... he would
like to keep it that way... it was easier
"Why did I accept being trapped here? Well.... I would do anything
for my brother's safety, even though that means allowing myself to
be killed so that he can win and leave... I may be a slave to the
tyrant but it doesn't matter to me. What matters is that my brother
was safe and was able to live a happy life. Other than that, I
don't really care." Amelia said, a gentle smile on her face. Her
brother should had passed away from old age by now. It has been a
rather long time after all.
She let out a small laugh. Wow... her reasoning seemed so much
simpler than hers... “Well! I’m gonna go involve myself in the
game!” She had her smile plastered on her face, seemingly returning
to normal. She grabbed a used kitchen knife laying on the floor
from a murder that took place a few years ago and walked out the
door. She didn’t really know if she would do much... She just
wanted to be alone for a bit.
“Well... Now I wait...” Yoshitiro mumbled as he watched everyone
from the monitors. There were no cameras on the other end of these
monitors, but it was instead his own power being used to watch over
them.
"Well, I tried..." Amelia said sighing. She wonders if she was free
again, what would the world outside be like? Letting a small dry
chuckle leave her lips as she knew she would never be set free. At
least without consquences.
A few moments later, Yoshitiro appeared in front of Meitso with a
groan. “I thought I told you to get out of my sight...” he growled,
grabbing the collar of her shirt and walking to the nonexistent
exit of the hotel. Of course, they were the only 2 with the
knowledge on how to get out. “Well then don’t look at me!” She
giggled, fiddling with the smaller blade as she was being dragged
around. “Just accept the goddamn truth and get out of here!” He
yelled as he slammed her down into the ground right outside the
hotel. She was in the middle of nowhere, but nothing was around...
Just a field of grass and the sky... She sighed and turned to face
Yoshitiro but he was already gone.
Turata had witnessed the entire thing, but somehow missed the part
about him throwing her out. What in the world was wrong with this
place...
Onslaught shivered, the rain outside battering him. He spotted the
building, an unholy grin plastered across his face. Nearly kicking
down the door, he walked in without a second thought, not even
checking to see if there was somebody at the front desk. He curled
up on a bench in the lobby, his face unable to be seen by anybody
unless he looked up.
"..." Amelia was at a lost of words. She had followed Meisto and
witnessed the whole thing, well except the exit. She had turned
around and left when the pair had reached it. Taking a deep
breathe, she focused her energy into becoming a human, something
she had learnt to do when she had first died, something that
Yoshitiro sometimes take advantage of. Being a spirit can be
annoying hen you all of a sudden fall through the floor when you
are not careful.
