"Hey! Don't do that," Ivy chuckled she lifted it up. "Who do you
belong to? Your Trainer must be worried," she asked it, stroking
its belly. "I assume you're a boy?" she asked it.
"Hm?" Ivy shrugged. She let it do it's thing and walked back to the
market. She saw Nora in the distance. She felt water drip from her
hair and realized she was drenched in seawater. She sighed.
"What a day," she said to herself.
"Yeah, figured I got bored waiting," she said trying to dry her
hair. She found the Rockruff tagging along. "Anyone knows who's
Rockruff is this?" she asked Nora.
"I didn't catch it. It just came up to me all of a sudden," she
said and lifted the Rockruff. "You should probably get home," she
told it.
"So what should I do with it?" she asked Nora when the Rockruff
wouldn't go.
Stardust, who has stayed unusually quiet the whole trip,
says, "yeah, probably..." he sounds a little bit sad, as if
he's remembering a bad dream/ memory.
Ivy noticed the sadness in his voice. "You okay? You sound a little
worried," he asked him. "If your tired or hungry we can go back
home for a break," she suggested.
"Uhm, Stardust. Are you tearing up???" Ivy said, she got even more
worried. She took out a cloth and handed over to him. "Yeah, I
think he needs some time to rest," she said looking over at Nora.
"What in the world does cleses mean?" she asked her. Her voice got
a little angry. She sighed and shook her head. "Whatever, I'll take
him to the Inn. Or might as well have a walk," she said as she laid
a hand on Stardust's shoulder. She felt the Rockruff's paws poking
at her feet. "How bout this little guy?" she asked. She wouldn't
want to be punished or fined for owning an endangered species.
"Okay, I'll bring him along I guess," she said she kneeled down and
pet him again. "Let's go boy! Or girl?" she asked still unsure of
the gender. "Oh whatever, come on Rockruff," she said motioning her
hand for it to follow. She'll think of a name for it later.
