Ivy looked over at Stardust and shrugged. "I think you should ask that to Nora since she knows a lot more about this place than I do. But, I did saw a berry drink stall looking for helpers. Maybe you can apply there?" she said to him. "It's around that corner, I think. But based on what just previously happened, I don't think they would be opened for a while. Everyone's locked up in their homes," she explained to him.

Ivy looked over at Nora who's still talking. "Umm Nora, are you done?" she asked her. She's been talking to that person for a while and Ivy's legs were starting to feel sore from standing up for so long.

Nora waved her down. After an hour or so, she gestured for them to follow. "Such weak legs." she muttered, eyeing the pairs struggles to keep up.

Ivy felt a little offended by the comment. She stretched her legs and walked quickly to match Nora's pace. She told herself to never speak up her thoughts again. She followed Nora quietly with no further word or complaint.

Ivy got bored of this. She decided to wander around for a bit. She sneaked away into a corner and took out the old book. She opened it and skimmed the pages. They were mostly in Correnian so she couldn't read it. She sighed and gave up. She looked up at the sky and sighed.
"I wonder how they're doing out there," she sighed as she touched her topaz pendant necklace.

Ivy turned back and stood up. She looked at the person. "It's none of your business," she said. She started to get defensive. She doesn't trust people easily, especially when it comes to her personal life. Then she saw it was a little girl. "Sorry, I'm just a bit scary," she said to her. "What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be at home?" she asked.

The little girl considered this. "My mommie says I'm a daughter of the stars."she says. "And you aren't scary. Just REALLY tall!" she says.

Ivy giggled. She loved children. She kneeled down and pat the little girl's head.
"You sure are the daughter of the stars," she said. She was happy she didn't find her scary. The children in her city think she's scary and doesn't talk to her no matter how nice she tried to be. "And don't worry, one day you'll be as tall as me," she says. "But you shouldn't just wander around alone. It's dangerous. Some people are not as nice as me," she advised. She remembered one time she got kidnapped. It was horrifying.

Ivy smiled. She missed those times when she was young and not afraid. All her life experiences were the ones that ruined her at that time. From being bullied to nearly being murdered. She gave the child a sad smile. "You should still go back though. Your parents might be worried sick," she said and stroked the girl's head.

"Oh okay," she said. As long as her parents are alright with it. She still felt worried though. Is it fine if I accompany you?" she asked. She let her fingers off her necklace. The shape of the pendant itself was a star. The blue gem shined in the sunlight.

"Oh alright," Ivy said as she followed the girl to the beach, going further away from Nora. She completely forgot about getting her Pokemon.

The girl trotted along happily. When she got to the beach, she sat down in the sand, the rough sea not bothering her at all.

Ivy looked back at the large Pokemon. Her instincts immediately told her to protect the girl. She went in between the creature and the little girl. "It's okay, we'll be fine," she said picking up the girl and turned away sprinting.
