Hail races through the mission. She's done this so many times, she knows where the pitfalls are and doesn't need a trap detector. She makes her way to Lewis. "Here again sweetheart?" he says, mocking her. "Yes, and I'm here to win!" she snarls. "Rapidash!" she says.
"Fire Spin!" she snarls, still angry at Lewis. Rapidash one shots Snom. "Ah, I see you've done some training." he mocks her some more. Hail ignores him and continues.
Hail moves on to battle Liana. "Welcome back>" she says sweetly. Of the gym trainers here, she was one of Hail's favorite. She called out Ninetales to take on cloyster.
His smile has a grip on me <3

Sam: Hail can EASILY blow through cloyster with ninetails.

"Icy Wind and Overheat!" Hail calls. Ninetales does the moves, quickly knocking out the cloyster.

Luke walks to Circhester and hears that there is a gym challenge happening. He carries his guitar and speaker in, not playing them and sits next to Sam. "Hey Sam." he aid.

"No, just walking by and heard a gym challenge and I thought, Why not." he said, then smiles back at Sam. "Should I make this better with music?" he asks, knowing he probably shouldn't.

Hail continues. She defeats all the gym trainers as fast as she can. Her mother waits for her at the top. "Glad you made it." she says. Hail nods. "Lapras!" Melony says. Hail narrows her eyes and calls on Auroras.

Sam: I WOULD say yes... but it could distract the pokemon, so not right now.

Luke thought the same thing. He straps the guitar on his back. "Well, when you think about it, when you send in your best pokemon in first, you can beat the weaker pokemon easier, but there is a bad side to it. Once you beat those pokemon, your best pokemon is weak, so it won't be as good against the opponent's best pokemon that they saved for last.

Sam: maybe they're going all out? I mean, Melony and Hail DO have a rivalry, as far as i know.
