Growing up, I love playing Pokémon. But the one game that I loved playing the most was Pokémon Gold. I spent forever playing it, doing all I could. It was the first - and only - Pokémon game where I’ve completed the Pokédex. It wasn’t easy, it took years of labor, but I got it done. And it was an achievement I cherished.

My favorite Pokémon in my party was an Ampharos - which knew Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Thunder Punch - and together we practically soloed the Elite Four dozens of times. My second favorite was the Lugia that took me days of school lunches and recesses to capture. With Lugia, there wasn’t a place I couldn’t Fly, Surf, or Waterfall my way to. My time with them was some of the best I’ve ever had in a Pokémon game and I rarely ever needed anyone in my party other than those two.

My fondest memories were capturing Celebi, cornering the three Legendary Dogs, and whooping the rival’s behind every time they decided to show up at the Elite Four to challenge me. I remember the struggle of getting every Pokémon in the game, trading with friends or myself. All the hours I spent in Johto and Kanto are fondly in my memories.https://myip.kim/ https://birthdaywishes.onl/ https://elecpay.in/tneb/

When Pokémon Sword and Shield were announced, I felt a bit of nostalgia gnawing at me and decided to open up the old game. To my sorrow, anguish, and extreme disappointment, the file was gone. My Ampharos, my Lugia, my hard work - gone. It breaks my heart to this day and I just felt the need to vent. Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful rest of your week.
