hi! I wanted to put something as simple as a heart (♥) on a pokemon's nickname by using ♥ but instead it shows up as &#9829; after I press enter, which then ruins the entire code. Is this supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong? I've seen plenty of people with pokemon names containing special symbols and coloured hearts but mine don't seem to work. :(

yeah, they don't seem to work anymore ;_;
the people who have it have had it in the pokemon's name before whatever update occured, so they're able to display the symbols (unless they edit the nickname of the pokemon)

Those codes aren't used anymore I guess.. some update or summat. However if you check most of the pokes in my party I just use the direct symbol for • by Alt + 7 and ♥ with Alt + 3. So it's better now than before?

Thank you for letting me know! I figured something wasn't quite right, hopefully they'll come back one day or if they are exploitable, hopefully they'll find a way around it..
