If so to which charities you donate? and how often?
I personally don't have much money to spare, so I don't donate to any charity (maybe I'm just a selfish prick). But I used to donate blood, because it doesn't cost me anything (except for an hour of my time) and it can potentially help save someone's life, so I think there's a lot of help for little "sacrifice" from my side.

I donate to my church, and to the local food bank. I shoot for donating 10% of take-home pay, but I’ve been a little under that this year so far.

I donate to shelters and other homeless-aid charities but never to panhandlers. Also started donating to charity for orphans (hopenowusa.org) recently. I found one Christian community that helps orphanages to meet basic needs for survival. I think they do a great job and it doesn't cost much for me to help these kids.

Sadly, I don't really know where to donate, and I don't have a salary so it's... pretty difficult. I have worked with Amnesty International though, at least for a while.

But I do donate blood! Or did, at least, but since I'm pretty much anemic, I can't do it for now :(

I don't donate money, nor can I afford to. I'm struggling myself...
If I could tho, I would donate blood. Outside of the sheer fact, I have a rare blood type I know they need since I have an O blood type, I also could really use the 50 or whatever bucks they could give for it to...

I donate blood and I'm a foster volunteer at my local humane society. That basically means I get to play with kittens until they're old enough to be fixed and adopted. It's hard to give them up but I love doing it.
