Shina walked into the patch of grass and got into a stance that someone might do in a trainer battle. She looked around through the grass and saw a rustle. "*Gasp* Sugo go!" Sugo jumped off of Shina's head and got ready for battle. The rustle grew closer and closer until finally- A Sewaddle jumped out of the grass. Shina was caught off guard and jumped back a bit. Of course, it made sense that it was a bug type since the bug type gym was in Nimfuu. "Uh- errr- Sugo! What can you do?" Sugo looked at Shina with an exasperated face and fired a Powder Snow at the Sewaddle. "Sew!! Addle!!!" The poor Pokémon was covered in snow now and Shina hurled a Pokeball at it. The Sewaddle was caught in side as the ball rocked from side to side. A bead of sweat ran down Shina's face as she watched intently. The ball stopped and as Shina held her breath- it clicked! She caught a Sewaddle! "Yes!" Shina pumped her fist into the air and Sugo jumped up and down happily. He retrieved the ball and gave it to Shina. She held the ball and twirled with it as she had done with Sugo. "Now we have a new companion! The bug type gym should look out- cause we're gonna beat it soon!" She pumped her fist again and Sugo squealed. She held the shining ball in her hands and her eyes glimmered. Now to train and then they could beat the bug gym.

Walking around Sheeta and Shinona find a grass patch and start to walk in it until they see some of the grass rustle. Suddenly a Caterpie comes out and startles Shinona however Sheeta throws a pokeball at it and after battling it and using 2 more pokeballs the Caterpie is finally caught and Shinona leveled up to level 9. Sheeta heads back to the PokeCenter at Nimfuu City and goes to the mart to buy some supplies.

(I'm skipping the training montage though i doubt there would be a lot)

After Shina healed her Pokémon back at the Pokecenter she head back to the patch of grass, defeatin many wild Pokémon with Sugo and Sewaddle. By the time she was done, the two were both level 10. "Phew, good job you too! Here! Have a treat!" Shina took out a small brown bag that she had brought from her aunt's house and opened it. Inside there were many Pokepuffs, delicacies of the Kali's region that her aunt bought when she traveled there for vacation. "Go on! Take one you too, you deserve it!" She handed them each one and they ate it gratefully. She sat down in the grass and stared at the sky. She closed her eyes as the wind tickled her face.

As Drew and his Rockruff walked down the streets of Nimfuu City, his Rockruff noticed the outskirts of the city. Eager to train, the Rockruff took off without warning. "Rockruff!" Drew roared, as he took off after his pokemon.

(y’all is it okay if we timeskip through the first gym? not sure what’s up with snow, so im kinda in an awkward position waiting for her. the next few characters/leaders are mine so it won’t happen again for soon at least-)

"Thanks for the badge. Nicely done, guys." Erika grinned down at her exhausted pokemon, patting them both on the head. They both grinned and allowed their trainer to pick them up.

Sheeta heads for the gym after getting her pokemon back from Nurse Joy and going to level them up. And after having used 4 out of her 8 potions Sheeta finally beats the gym leader.

(gym battle skip since snow isnt here)

Marla nods before turning to the other girl who just finished her battle. "Nice job. Your Pokémon are cool." she said quietly, looking at Sheeta. "Did you just get a starter?"

(crapcrapcrap im so slow im sorry everybody)

(ima timeskip a bit)

After defeating the first gym (and taking up half his storage on his camera with pictures), Lucius stood beside the gym looking at photos. He would've just walked away but a small thought in the back of his mind told him to stay for Henry. He probably finished his gym battle already... I wish I could've watched, he thought.

Shina defeated the leader easier than she had thought. Her Pokémon had each leveled up twice! She retrieved the badge and after healing her Pokémon, she ran out of the building only to find many other trainers including Sheeta standing there. "H-hey!" Shina called waving to Sheeta. She hoped the other people had seen her. She ran to the group with Sugo trailing just behind.
