Frowning some, he hurried in with the others. And he checked behind
him, just as a matter of precaution. Were there any other trainers
rushing in? No? Kit tries to close the lab door, hoping to secure
further privacy for...the talk explaining why they were all here.
Juniper's head snapped to the kid who shut the door. "I didn't ask
for the door to be shut, Kit." she grumbled, obviously stressed and
irritated. She stood up from her desk, cracking it open a sliver.
"The air conditioning in here doesn't work." she explained.
Marisa crossed her arms. "Obviously we're not here to discuss the
matter of air conditioners."
Jean had been silent most of the time, trying to hear what was
going on. Upon hearing someone call them a team of nobodies, he
glanced around. "I don't think we're nobodies- I agree that we're
pretty strong!" He grinned, ignoring the fact that his ego was
inflating itself again. "Plasma can be defeated easily by us!"
He lifted his hands in surprise, but okay, a little bit of air
flow. And then he listened, waiting for more information about what
this mention of Team Plasma was all about. And the need for strong
trainers, that was an interesting bit.
"Exactly why I brought you here. Listen. I don't have much time to
talk. Go to Castellia. Find the representative. And whatever you
do, don't engage the main scientists." Juniper said quickly,
standing up and walking into the back.
"That's it?!" Annika said, her face met with a slamming door.
Moe let out a fruststrated huff. "Wow, we went this whole way just
to get screamed at by the person we are trying to help. Nothing
could stop us from just walking out and letting Unova be taken
over." he said, then widened his eyes. "O-or, you know. W-we could
help. S-she said Castellia, right?"
Chad sighed, nudging Moe a little bit. "Be careful with the sass."
he muttered in his ear.
Jean pursed his lips, shaking his head. "How rude! We still barely
know what's happening!" He huffed, looking away. "Well, it's
Castellia to go... Right?" Starting to tap his foot, he patted
Marie-Paul mindlessly.
"... I don't want to see her when she's actually angry. I'm going
to Castellia. I didn't just spend all this time away from earning
money for my family to get yelled at." Annika said, standing
up.
"What she said." Marisa said, following Annika's lead.
He claps his hands together, the sound muffed by the gloves he
wore. "Castellia it is, hey whoever's last--make sure to leave the
door a bit open." And he walks out, clicking his tongue to move
Soare off his shoulder and to fly them over to the big city. This
oughta be interesting.
Don't engage the main scientists. Sounds like something big
will be going on, and this was definitely trouble in the making.
But that could be half the fun.
Jean, startled, quickly ran over to catch up to the others.
"S-sorry! Kinda blanked." He shook his head. "I need to stop doing
it if I wanna get where I want." letting out a huff, he looked to
Marie-Paul. "I mean, if I become an amazing trainer, I can't just
let my mind go blank!"
