Scorch nodded and ran off away from the path. He looked around and saw a Charmander being pinned to a tree by a Beedrill. "Help!" He yelled pitifully.

"Just one Beedrill? We can take this." Aki said seriously, stepping forward. "Hey, leave them alone!" He shouted, taking on a defensive stance.

"Hope you can take care of this, because--" Flair winced. "I'm running out of HP."

"Well isn't that swell."

"Sorry man."

Scorch nodded to Flair and went to stand by Aki's side. "Ugh mystery teams." The Beedrill said lowly and flew over he looked at Scorch. "Huh? I thought you were killed" he said darkly.

"Huh?" Scorch said in confusion the confused caused him to miss a Dodge from the Pokémon's stinger.

"SCORCH--" Aki yowled, slamming against the Cyndaquil in an attempt to shove him out of the way. "Leave the Charmnder alone, and quit it with the mind games!" He snapped at the Beedrill.

The Beedrill missed the sting when Scorch was knocked aside. "Hm mind games? Haven't you wondered where mystery teams have gone yet you find this Cyndaquil" he said lowly. He was about to use a poison sting when Scorch used a flamethrower.

"Of course we wonder where the mystery teams are going!" Aki snapped, using quick attack. He pulled back quickly. "He's a friend now, so leave him alone!"

Beedrill was hit by both moves. He didn't retort instead he tried to use another poison sting, but was hit by an aerial Ace and ran off in defeat.

"Are you okay?" Flair asked, moving towards the Charmander slowly.

"What, doesn't matter if we're okay?" Aki complained, watching the Beedrill run off.

"No offense man, but not really."

"You okay?" Aki asked, looking over at Scorch carefully. "It didn't get you, did it?"

Charmander nodded and looked at the mystery team. Scorch hauled himself to his paws. "I'm fine, I was scratched but nothing serious" he said quietly and shook his head clear. What did that Beedrill mean? He thought distractedly.

Aki nodded, satisfied. "Right then. Let's get out of this dungeon." He said, back to his usual cheerful self. "We can have Chance look at you when we get back. And uh," He glanced at the Charmander. "Would you like to go back to town, or do you want to keep exploring?" He checked.

"I'd like to go back" the Charmander said kindly. Scorch nodded in response and thought about the Beedrill. He shook his head to clear it.

Aki nodded and tapped the badge, turning it to the Charnander it flashed in understanding, and he turned it to face the rest of them. The badge flashed again and transported all four of them out of the dungeon.

Uki was waiting at the guild for Flair and Aki. She sighed, and paced, flying around, waiting for what Flair and Aki had to say for themselves when they got back. She eventually got tired of pacing and started fidgeting with her scarf.

Scorch looked around as they were transported out of the dungeon they soon appeared in the guild's main room. "Thanks for helping me. Here's 3000 pokedollar, but your share of 300" he said kindly and handed the PD to Aki.

Aki smiled and accepted the PD with a smile. "Thanks. Be careful out there." He said kindly, tucking 200 into his Explorers bag. He offered the remaining 100 to Scorch ("You helped too! Take it!") before spotting Uki and paling.

"Flair. Can we pin the blame on you."

"What? No. Nonono. We blamed me last time."

"But--"

"See.. Our team has three Pokémon in it." Aki explained carefully. "That's Uki." He nodded to the Noibat. "She's part of our team. So we're gonna pray that she won't annihilate us on the spot for exploring without her."

"Can we act mature please." Flair grunted, crossing her arms behind her back. "Hey, Uki!" She called, waving (somewhat nervously).

Uki heard them, stopping her fidgeting and flew over to them, a harsh glare in her burning yellow eyes. "I sure hope you have a good excuse for not telling me your going on an exploration mission!" Uki growled.

Scorch looked at Uki and held back a flinch. "Uh..it was my fault. I asked them to take me on a mission" he said quickly taking the blame for the two forgetting about their teammate.
