Kawena was sleeping on his house, which was also in Sandgem. His fathers were very ready for this journey of his- so much that they bought a house. It was really only temporarilly- maybe not even worth it- but they would like to be prepared. Some objects were still inside boxes, though all of the important ones were all unboxed during the day.

Nara flickered her eyes open, realizing she had fallen asleep while reading. She stood up from her table and stretched. She went to take a short shower and change to her usual outfit but added an eye protection incase.

7:10.

Nara did not react knowing she's late. She carefully took her time as she ate, she even carried a take out coffee with her. On her way to the cafe, Peach hopped on her shoulder.

"Right!" Mayra smiled. This was getting off to a good start. She pulled up a chair to the table Scarlett was sitting at. "This is Tino, my Quilava! What kind of Pokémon do you use? I use basically any Pokémon that I can form a bond with. Well, except for my Zubat..."

Meanwhile Enzo woke up early to ask Professor Rowan. He waited outside of his lab, until Rowan came out.

"Why must you be so early young lad?" Rowan asked, Enzo lightly scratched the back of his head. "There's something I want to ask-- oh nevermind. You must be off for work today. I'll ask next time."

"No, I'm going to the cafe we went yesterday." Rowan replied.

"I'll come!"

Hina decided to look for Mia and Cat after everyone met in the cafe for Professor Rowan again. She walked downstairs and seeing her sister talking with Scarlett, she smiled and went to order a Tapu Cocoa. Once she got the delicious, steaming beverage, she grabbed a magazine from the large rack on the wall, got some food for Eevee, and sat down at a table in the corner. "Eevee Vee!" Eevee was excited for the bowl of food Hina placed in front of him. Eevee cried joyously again and nipped at Hina. She laughed and scratched his ruffled head. "You're one of my best friends Eevee! I'm glad you feel the same!" Then Eevee dug into the delicious smelling bowl of Pokechow.

"I see no problem about it." Rowan said, "So what's bothering you lately?" Rowan recalled.

"Oh, there's this girl Nara, I heard she's a twin of an elite." Enzo said causing Rowan to chuckle lightly. "Yes she is, , she's not really into battling but she's more than a decent trainer. Did you have a conversation with her?" Rowan asked.

Enzo nodded, "Well pretty often, with her complaining all the time. And she's intimidating." Enzo shrugged.

"I agree, she's difficult, we're here." Rowan stopped in his tracks. Enzo opened the door for him. Alarming the trainers.

Cat ran into the cafe, Flare on her shoulder. Her hair was a mess with some of the feathers sticking standing up, she was trying to comb her hair with her fingers as she sat down.

Abba dramatically walked into the cafe "fashionably late", strutting to the counter and ordering a basic hot coffee with cream and sugar. She sported a near-identical outfit from the previous day, though now her oversized sweater wasn't cut into a crop top and was a vanilla cashmere color with her thigh-high black boots on, almost as if she weren't wearing any pants though had a pair of short shorts on.

"Sorry we're late." she commented, joining the group and taking a sip of her coffee with her Braixen beside her.

"I see you're all here." Rowan started. Nara rolled her eyes in a corner. Enzo started to walk to a group of females and sat there awkwardly.

"I hope you packed your things since you will journey across Sinnoh to find the plates." Rowan said. "I'll still be keeping contact with you while I'm here in Sandgem Town."

Devyn and Weavile waved. "Howdy." Devyn smiled, spinning her cap around on one finger.

Mayra replied to Scarlett, "Wow that's super cool! I have a Marill named Rinna" Then professor Rowan walked in and started talking. Mayra however wasn't paying attention to this. She had seen Abba walk into the cafe. "Abba over here!!" She called while waving her hand.

Hina had packed both hers, and Mayra's bag the previous night and had them with her. She nodded at Professor Rowan's words and said, "Where should we start looking for the plates?"

Rowan's attention shifted to Devyn who recently came. "Good morning-- so where are we again?" He asked resuming the discussion.

"You can ask questions while I'm here. I certainly need to study things that might lead to unpleasant consequences." Rowan said. "I'll be contacting you from time to time."

Abba gave a sly smile and walked out of the cafe after hearing Mayra's voice. "Nice to meet you, I'm Abigail." she introduced formally. She looked down at Scarlett's Vaporeon and gasped. "I love your Vaporeon! All Eeveelutions are cute, but I like Glaceon the most." she told the girl, releasing her Glaceon out who greeted everyone with a proud cry.

"Wowee!" Mayra yelped. "Quil Quil!" Tino replied, the flame on his back blooming like a flower. "You guys both have Eeveelutions! My sister has an Eevee but she hasn't said what she wants it to evolve into yet..." She smiled widely at Abba and Scarlett. "What plates are you guys planning on looking for. I'm not sure if Abba still wants to go search for the Flame Plate with me but if she does then I'm sure you could come too Scarlett!"

Suddenly, an Alolan Raticate walked through the doors of the cafe. He looked over to everyone else, but mostly over to the food they were holding. "Rah rah!" He exclaimed, and Kawena walked through the door. "Thanks, Rath! Try not to steal their food, by the way." He told the Raticate, walking over to the gang and sitting on a nearby chair. "So, whats up?" He asked.

Forgetting what he was told not to do, Rath started to sniff dangerously close to their food. And also to Tino.
