Tino tugged at Mayra's leggings. "Quilava! Lava!" He said wearily. Mayra smiled and nodded knowing he was asking for a break. She returned him to his pokeball and sent out Puppy. "Grow Grow!" Puppy said panting and jumping, happy to stretch his legs. Mayra took a rubber ball out of her back pocket and then threw it ahead for him to fetch. He ran after it between Scarlett's legs, startling her and retrieved the red ball. "Sorry Scarlett!" She called ahead feeling genuinely embarrassed and sorry. "Come here Puppy!" Puppy ran back and dropped the ball in Mayra's hands. "Well why don't we just walk for a while Puppy?" Maybe that'll keep me from messing up any further, she thought to herself.

Mia walked after them silently, scrolling through her pokégear. She'd tied her hair in a ponytail to keep it from hitting her in the face as she walked. Nothing new or interesting was coming up so she sighed and tucked her pokégear into her bag.

Hina looked a bit surprised at this. "Rea-Really?" She asked hesitantly not sure from Enzo's tone if this was necessarily a good thing or not. "Well, I'm happy that Rotom hasn't shocked me yet!" She said jokingly and reached out to pet Rotom again, blushing slightly, Eevee a bit jealous of all the attention that Rotom was getting from Hina.

Nara stopped on her tracks, a lake coming into view. Bingo. She thought. "That must be Lake Verity." She said.

"Yeah, that's Lake Verity. Pretty, huh?" Devyn smiled, turning to face Nara. "It's become more... melancholy? I dunno, when I was around 7 or 8 me and friends and family came."

Scarlett nodded. "Verity's pretty. Nothing like Alola, though. Sorry."

"What ya' doin'." Cat asked Mia as she had been looking over the girl's shoulder silently. She had almost successfully fixed her hair, one feather was sticking up at the top of her head that she had missed.

Hina noticed a colorful shine around Rotom and realized something, questioning herself that she had not seen it before. "Wait, is your Rotom, a shiny??!" Eevee jumped trying to get Hina's attention.

Mayra heard Nara and ran ahead to the edge of the dirt beaten road past everyone else. "Wow it really is Lake Verity." She said to herself quietly, Puppy running after her, barking the whole way. She turned around to the group and asked, "So I'm guessing this is our first stop?" Wondering if they would stop here before Twinleaf.

Mayra ran down the new, grass covered path to the lake, Puppy running after. When she reached the lake's edge, she stopped and took out the Pokeball that held Rinna, her Marill, and sent her out. The ball capsule activated and Rinna was released along with a stream of blue petals and stars. "Marill!" Rinna said cheerfully looking at Mayra, and then the lake. "Could you dive in? I want you to look for a tablet shaped stone." She said. "Ma! Marill!" Rinna said, happy enough to just be going into the water, and dived in.

Hina looked at Enzo. "That's pretty cool. The Rotom I mean. You know," She took out a Pokeball, and changing the subject said, "Do you think one of Arceus' plates could be in there? I'm just spitballing ideas, but it could be a possibility considering how important Lake Verity is to Sinnoh. Right?"

Nara released her Milotic, Veil, a while ago to look for the plate as well.

"Well it's worth a try." Hina sent out Lina, her Dragonair. "Dive into the lake please Lina. I want you to look for some sort of tablet like object." Lina mused joyfully and twirled into the crystal blue water, a small ripple following her descent.

Hina looked at Enzo's Carracosta. "Nice! A fossil Pokémon! I didn't know you had one." The cold wind made her shiver a bit but her green parka was still wrapped around her from earlier.

Mayra was playing with the dirt by the edge of the lake and Puppy was rolling in the damp grass. "I hope Rinna's alright." She said with complete confidence in Rinna.

Mia yelped and nearly tripped at Cat's words. With a bright flash, her Lucario sprang into existence and growled at Cat. "No!" Mia exclaimed, causing Coyote to stop in her tracks. "She's a friend." She added quickly.

Coyote flicked her ears but fell silent. Sear whined upon seeing Lake Verity, not at all liking the water.

Cat laughed then went to the edge of the water and Flare jumped off her shoulder. "I'll be back in a little bit, wait here, ok?" she said

Flare nodded and sat down. She watched as her trainer took off her shoes and socks and dove into the water without any hesitation.

Mayra looked in awe at Cat. She didn't think someone would willingly dive into freezing water. She whistled and Rinna came back to the surface. She pointed to where Cat had dived in, "Go help her." She said

Nara sent out another Pokemon, a Tropius this time. Citrus greeted Nara with it's usual cry. "Fly me to that cavern." She said. Citrus nodded and bent down, while his trainer climbed.
